I want to set up an Image Hosting site. anyone have a good script to help me make it happen?

I'd like an easy way to browse all the images online if possible in a gallery. Ive never had an image host site, but i got a good domain and i need an easy way to upload files for whatever forum/blog im posting on. TY TY

Have you tried Mihalism Multi Host? It seems pretty popular and it's free.

just wondering. has anyone had any problems getting imagemagic to work so it will automatically create thumbnails for pictures uploaded?

this project would be kinda fun to approach using google adsense arbitrage and target high paying keywords with your photo tags..

I also use Mihalism Multi Host. It's great for advertising and getting surfers to your site. I.e. it gives you links to your thumbnails or pictures. I use it to show thumbnails on forums. People click on the thumbnail and get to the real size pic on your site.

damnit. I loved that thing. Hostgator made me take it down. Anyone have someone (that would allow me to host that cheaply, not on a dedicated server. I want to pay maybe 6-20 bucks a month)

I wanna have an image host, but i dont really want it to be too popular. Just want one that I have control of....... Anyone rec a host that would let me run an image host on a shared server?

I used to have one at lacehost*com, they have awesome support and it's only $3 a month for their image hosting plan. Quite sad I left them really :( But they don't offer VPS's (which I needed).

Why did they make you take it down? Was it using too much cpu resources? (shared hosting plan?)

yea it was on shared. but its against the tos to have the script up. i was pretty salty, had a solid domain for it too... 7 letter 2 word w/pics in the domain...

How they found me was above my clearance level. They did find me though, and then made me rip it down. idk why they were keepin an eye out for it or what.

    i might switch to voyagehosting.c0m.

i posted on their boards and they said they allow it. the thing that sucks is they have less that 1/10th of the gigs for the same price. so im not sure what to do as far as that is concerned.
