It is not possible to record keyboard/mouse strokes with the default setup in iMacros, hence why the OP is asking.
@OP: I would suggest you to use Direct Screen (DS) technology, however I just noticed that at the moment, the {SHIFT}, {CTRL}, and {ALT} keys are not supported, so it won't work in your case. Your best bet is to try copy/paste another way, for example selecting the text, right-clicking on it and clicking copy and then same procedure for pasting. This will work with DS!

Are you using the iMacros browser or Firefox/Chrome?

If you're trying to use Ctrl V to paste something, then alternatively you could use the the {{!CLIPBOARD}} variable. Post the code you're working on and I'll take a stab at it.

not sure where do you want to post exactly what, but if it's 2 websites, you can use the "EXTRACT" command to "copy", then type "VAR1" after "CONTENT" on the page where you want to paste it

Use Macro Scheduler for this. Imacros is better for forms. MS is better for Windows tasks.

I think that guy may be long gone. Probably found an iMacro thread here from a Google search and signed up thinking he'd get a fast response. I sign up on other forums all the time to ask a quick question, then forget all about it an hour later.

I do that too sometimes. Although, truth be told, if I receive an email about getting responses to my thread/question, even if I solved my problem, I'll still check it out and respond if there's anything worth responding to.
