    All right guys,

    I'm using an iMacros to follow some Twitter accounts. So I'm using this really simple and well know script:

    - You go to Barack Obama's followers page, run this script, and it'll follow Barack Obama, then his follower 1, follower 2, follower 3, etc, in order.

    Code:
    TAG POS={{!LOOP}}  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    But when I just copy and past the script twice, like that:

    Code:
    TAG POS={{!LOOP}}  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    TAG POS={{!LOOP}}  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    It doesn't follow Barack Obama then his follower 1, follower 2, follower 3 anymore, it just follow Barack Obama, unfollow Barack Obama, follow Barack Obama, unfollow Barack Obama, etc, again, again, and again, SO WHAT THE FUCK?! The script is still absolutely the same, why its doing this?!

    I'm in no way an iMacro god... but try removing <SP>unfollow and see what happens...

    I'm not a twitter guy (yet), but try with just one line of code. I think the 2nd line immediately cancels out (unfollow) what the first line had just done (follow).

    Oh I know that with just one line it's perfectly working, that's what I'm currently using, but I need it to works line under line for my new needs :confused:

    Play with the positioning:

    Code:
    TAG POS=1  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    TAG POS=2  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    If that doesn't work, play with attribute and just use ATTR=TXT:Follow for both lines.

    If you're talking about
    Code:
    TAG POS=1  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow
    WAIT SECONDS=10
    Then it's not gonna works
    Code:
    RuntimeError: element BUTTON specified by TXT:Follow was not found, line 1 (Error code: -921)
    But by changing
    Code:
    TAG POS={{!LOOP}}[COLOR=#FFFFCC][FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#FFFFCC][FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]WAIT SECONDS=10
    [/FONT][/COLOR]TAG POS={{!LOOP}}[COLOR=#FFFFCC][FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    [/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#FFFFCC][FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]WAIT SECONDS=10[/FONT][/COLOR]
    To
    Code:
    [FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]TAG POS=1 TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]WAIT SECONDS=10[/FONT]
    [FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]TAG POS=2 TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*[/FONT]
    [FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]WAIT SECONDS=10[/FONT]
    [FONT=Helvetica Neue UltraLight]ETC[/FONT]

    Then it's working, I already knew that I could do that, but I have 800 lines to do...

    Do 10 lines, loop it 20 times (or 20 lines, loop 10 times; u get the picture).

    I follow 800 people a day, by doing 200, 10 minutes break, 200, 10 minutes breaks, etc, until 800, if I don't pause manually the script, Twitter's algorithm is going to detect it and block me from following a few hours, (it happened to me 3 times) so what I want to do is copy/past the script 200 times in a single script, with obviously a 10 seconds delay between each following and at the end of the 200 lines, add a 600 seconds wait, this way, I just have to set the script to run 4 loops and everything is going to be done automatically, and I'll have the time to fuck bitches, right?

    But the problem is, if I want to follow 800 people, by using POS=1, POS=2, POS=3, I'd need to do it 800 times :(

    So the goal is to follow 800 people in a day while doing chicks. How much time are you giving yourself to do so? Only a few hours or the whole day?

    Cos you can play with this

    Code:
    TAG POS={{!LOOP}}  TYPE=BUTTON ATTR=TXT:Follow<SP>Following<SP>Unfollow<SP>Blocked<SP>Unblock<SP>Pen*
    SET !VAR5 NULL
    SET !VAR5 EVAL("var randomNumber=Math.floor(Math.random()*60); randomNumber;")
    WAIT SECONDS={{!VAR5}}
    It gives a random wait time from 0-60 seconds. Change 60 to more or less as you wish. Not sure how long 800 follows will take, but it's fire-and-forget so you have more time for the chicks. It works on Firefox, not sure if it works on Chrome or other browsers.

    The whole day of course :)
    Thank you very much for that! I reduced the wait time to 40 and set 800 loops, hopefully it's gonna be good! You rock dude!

    {{!LOOP}} is set when you use the Play(Loop) button in the extension. If you use {{!LOOP}} and just push play it will only play once since it set {{!LOOP}} to 1. You have to use the Play Loop Option and it will loop through whatever you set it to. For example TAG POS={{!LOOP}} Current: 1 Max: 800 would loop the script 800 times. Starting with TAG POS=1 and ending with TAG POS=800.

    You should know though, that there are 3 follow tags in the left sidebar on a twitter's followers page you need to skip, and the 4th is the followers page. So you need to start with 4 - 800. If you visit the page more than once you will need to start at 5.

    I wrote a little javascript macro that you can use that will skip over already following tabs. So you can go back to the same followers pages and pick up where you left off.

    (won't let me drop the full link to the other fourm post, being a newbie has it's disadvantages!)
