I'm Stumped

So I have my clickbank product that I created about a month ago. It is a good product and I know it will sell but nothing... I get almost 200 unique views from google every day (which is amazing because I know nothing about seo). The sales page isn't great, I know this, but it's also not that bad (since I gave it a little facelift). But with all of this, I still haven't made a dime in a whole month. Im so desperate that I even put adsense on it last night just so I could monetize some of that traffic lol. The product sales for $97, and the commission is 50% of that, and I still have no affiliates. Of course I have had some tellme, "you need to invest in this, and that" I know all of this, but with my current situation I am just unable. Many people here know me, and know that I (not too long ago) was doing very well in IM, but things happened, and I have to take care of those things first and foremost. So if anyone has any ideas on what I can do (givin the situation) please let me know. Thanks

That price sounds too high for any clickbank product. What kind of product is it - i.e. ebook, software etc?
Whatever the product is, I'd say slash down the price and then once sales are steady, experiment slowly increasing the price.

You also need to get affiliates promoting the product. The first step in doing this is increasing the commission to 75%.

Have you split tested a few different sales pages and sales copies?

As mentioned above, $97 is quite high for a CB product. I own a range of products on CB which are between $27 and $97 so $97 products can sell, it just needs to be really good.

The fact you're getting traffic that's not converting probably shows that it's your sales page that is the issue. Keep tweaking and testing until you find something that converts.

$97 can work for certain products (I believe XSitePro is offered on Clickbank for like $200), but you WILL have fewer sales at that price point.

Also, 50% commissions will disenfranchise some affiliates as well. I never promote anything under 60% unless someone I know personally lets me know that it sells like wildfire.

Finally, it could be your content. You might think your page looks good, but if the visitors don't buy, then that's a better gauge.

How are you getting the word out about your product? Are the people who come to your page "targeted" or are you getting traffic some other way? Just curious. IF you get that many unique views, I can't imagine that you shouldn't have sold at least one by now . . .

If you can slash the price and up the commision it may help and cheaper sales better then no sales, you can make it one of those Half-price for the next 50 customers promo things that never seem to run out ;-) 97 is out of a lot of peoples impulse purchase range.

I sell my CB product for 97. I just could not make money any other way. I dont think it's high, then againmy product is not just an ebook. I sell it on Webinars and get 10% conversion all the time.

Well, I took someones advise, and lowered it to $27, and raised the commission to 75% and in just one day, my hops went from 4 to 22, with 6 order form impressions, and 2 actual sales. So I guess that worked.

By the way, for those who have been on the clickbank train for a while, are those conversion rates pretty good or what? I know its only a day and too early to really tell, but lets just say the numbers keep on that track. Is that good?

It depends on your niche, but 2 sales in 22 hops is at least respectable in any niche, though it's probably not yet an adequate sample. 9% is solid, though, and in my niche, it's kickass.

It's all about split testing.

If your copy isn't good and your are pricing it that high you will never sell.

Split test:
- Graphics
- Sales letter (Including the buy it now button, placements, headlines, entire new copy etc etc)
- Lower the price (Recommend starting at $17 and going up)
- New niche? If not take a look at the competition.

To get affiliates on board you need to provide conversions.. Nobody is going to test this product for you and be patience and keep working on it.

By putting ad-sense on your website you most likely ruined any chance of getting affiliates.

Do you have up-sells? (the one click up-sell function on Clickbank is amazing)

Provide your affiliates with conversions, maybe even more commissions, banners, graphics, articles, solo-ads etc..

Don't ever expect that being a product owner is a one-time job that instantly gets picked up and promoted. I changed most of my sales letter over 4 times before I got it right.

Try other traffic sources etc etc..

Don't look at views to much.. unique visitors and hops.. conversions.

Keep pushing it and make it better every day.

Since your book is already a sell and you sure buyers love what they payed for. then I advise to take a part or two from your book, then make a book around it and offer it for buyers (emails) for 21.5$... or offer whatever you think buyers will need after buying your product.

I think price can really make a difference here. I am currently experimenting with sales of my own e-books, so I am doing a lot of tests. My model is CPC -> Own sales page with own product (no affiliates).

Testing model: Boost Adwords with $100 investment and see what happens

1. First test: For one of the books, I started with $39. Until the $100 was spent, I made just one sale, so result was -$61.
2. Second test - price $19. Until the $100 was spent, I made 6 sales. Nothing big, but at least the result was + $14.

Most important thing to mention: I changed nothing but the price... So experiment with the price, until you find the most profitable model. Than it's just about letting the system run and collecting the money
