    I am using Market Samurai for my new autoblog campaign and I am a little confused about picking domain names. I have a general niche and 5 sub topics. My plan was to buy 5 domains, and create 5 sub domains for each pertaining to my topics.

    Now is it better to create general keyword domains?
    so it would be like:
    laptops.cheapcomputers.com
    financing.cheapcomputers.com

    Or specific keyword domains that I have researched to get non broad domains?
    like:
    laptops.computerstoresinflorida.com

    Don't use sub domains. Just make a new .com for each.

    macdonjo3, For the best SEO benefit, do you suggest several "related" domains names going to one site, or is it better to have multiple "related" domain going to multiple sites with the same content?

    Lets see if I can write that better... (eg:)

    widget (kom) -->site 1
    bestwidget (kom) --> site 1
    widgetreview (kom) --> site 1

    or
    widget (kom) --> site 1
    bestwidget (kom) --> site 2 (with same content as site 1)
    widgetreview (kom) --> site 3 (again, same content as site 1)

    Obviously, I'm looking to taking advantage of the keywords in the domain name. Is a Cname a good option?
