I'm still a little confused, how do you write 5+ articles on such a specific long tail?

I have been reading a lot lately, especially NapsteR's thread. But how do you guys pick a specific niche and then write so many articles about it? Or am I not understanding this process correctly:

1. Pick niche (Lets say it's photography)
2. Find a specific long tail keyword 4+ words long (How to build a lightbox)
3. Create EMD website (Howtobuildalightbox)
4. Write 5+ articles (???????)
5. Add Adsense
6. Get Ranked
7. Make Money

How can you guys write so many articles about something so specific? And 1000 words minimum? Is there something I'm not getting here?

There's a lot more to it than that, read all of those threads again, it looks like your method is missing a lot of necessary ingredients.

That said, "how to build a lightbox" sounds more like one article on a more general photography website, to me. I would definitely find a niche that you can find a number of longtail articles for on different aspects of your niche. The niche can be saturated as long as your longtails aren't. That's why keyword research is everything when building an authority site. There's room but every general niche is crowded, imo. But that doesn't stop me, but it does stress the importance of good quality long tails and keyword research. It takes time.

EMDs don't really matter these days. I've beat emds before. So I wouldn't stress it but i would check that the domain name is related to the niche obviously. NapsteR's threads are all about authority sites. Authority sites have domain names that leave room for growth, in my opinion. That's how i look at them. But, If you want to build one it takes a hell of a lot of time and focus. The reward of passive income is why people do it.

Do more research and keep learning. Don't give up.

The best way to successfuly build content for a site is to either have the budget to hire writers or to build sites on topics you're passionate and knowledgeable about. If you're writing about a topic you're interested in or if you're writing on a topic you that you're knowledgeable about, then creating content becomes your second nature.

Step One: Find a good Aged Domain.
Step Two: Pick a fitting Niche.
Step Three: Find multiple good Long Tail KWs
Step Four: Write an Article about each good LTKW
Step Five: Make Money.

This is the gist of what I am taking from Napsters journey. You are not looking for a MNS, or an EMD. You want to rank multiple KWs. This is an Authority site. Eventually you will have HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of Articles. Thats how you make bank.

Agree with lightningblitz, that you have to build a site around the niche, not the keywords.
