I'm sick of seeing article writing sales threads here with poor grammar

It seems to me that the vast majority of all BSTs for article writing on BHW have several grammatical errors. I would have thought that if you were trying to sell my services as a writer or article provider that you would ensure that your sales copy was perfectly written. I'm not going to call out any threads in particular but I must say that if the sales content isn't up to scratch I immediately discount the service as being substandard.

Does anyone else feel this way, or am I being to picky?

Edit - laughing at myself for making a mistake in the title of this thread (which I have now corrected)! I have an excuse though - I'm still recovering from brain surgery, and this isn't a BST.

It's a quick way of filtering out the bad sellers though!

Also had the same issue. I want a writer who writes. Not someone who go and buy article on Freelancer for 1.50 for 1000 words with poor command of English. I seriously would love to have an article writer who understands their job.

There are several threads about this issue and it's unfortunate. You can either give them the benefit of the doubt by assuming they outsourced the design to someone with poor English skills or use it as a way of filtering out sellers as deancow said.

You get what you pay for. I charge $85 for one-off technical articles or $65/hour. Have 0 problems getting that rate because I'm awesome and better than any writer in the BST section.

Is it not against BHW rules to charge more than $5 an hour if you're not a Jnr VIP?

Sometimes I masturbate to my bank account. Every writer in the BST section is a pleb, so I don't expect them to understand what it's like.

Many sellers on here have a lot to learn. They need to hire a good writer to write their sales copy so they can sell shitty articles that they write. I wouldn't dream of buying articles from someone without a flawless sales thread with perfect grammar and punctuation. It takes more time to fix a terrible article than it does to write it yourself.
I also won't buy any blackhat services from someone who's using a gmail account as their means for communication. Sellers take note!

This problem is not limited to just BST's.

iWriter's (fuck that company) home page says "Get Content Written.." when "Have Content Written.." is grammatically correct and makes more sense.

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

It is 5$ for a reason, if you want to have good content with that rate, the only way is train your own staffs. Worked well for me, never touched any BST content sellers ever since.

I think it's totally fair and reasonable to expect that writers be able to show a proper command of the English language in their BST thread. That being said, the big issue is that the overwhelming majority of buyers on BHW neither have the budget nor the desire to really pay a premium for quality writing. The reason is simple: just look at the majority of threads that get started up by newbies and you'll see most are here to make a quick buck, not sustainable passive income. The good news as a seller, though, is that higher prices serve as a barrier to entry for buyers who don't know what they want, have expectations that don't line up with reality, and are generally a hassle to deal with. Give me a handful of stable clients over dozens of one-off buyers any day.

100% agree with the OP. My pet-peeve is when I see "high quality contents" in a sales thread. It's content, not contents! FFS.

I love all of the $5 seo threads saying I'll get results within a few months. Yeah my site will tank hard in a few months.... They are all cookie cutter services that don't yield any results... but they claim they do... Learn to find real quality by testing out services and leaving honest reviews of the articles for other to see.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I'm pretty tight when it comes to paying for content which means it takes me ages (and costs me a bit of money) to find writers that meet my standards. That being said, I do use a couple of the writing BST's from here when I need content that is one step up from being spun.

WTF are you on about? I have a sales thread for my proxy service. The link is in my signature. I'm also complying with all rules. What the hell is your problem?

I'm not going to answer your questions here. Either send me a PM or ask them in my sales thread.

Every single post in this thread is on point, except for yours. Reminds me of the movie Arlington Road.

Edit - Looking at your latest posts I can see that this one of yours fits right by in adding no value whatsoever.
