So I have finally found the right company name that isn't registered. Im now ready to register the company officially to companies house.

I'm going to register as the only shareholder, and the director.

    I have two questions:

    1) How many shares should I allocate to myself?

    2) Where should I register the company? On companies house or on a website that makes it "easy" to do so?

Detailed advice would be much appreciated.

I have literally just been looking to do the same thing.

The company I was looking at is one of them "Easy Company Formation" ones which charge about £30 for registration, a Barclays business account and the legal paperworks.

I have never done anything like this myself, so I will float about to see what others have to say

honestly I would get an accountant to do it for you. I have one who setup the company and does my annual tax returns, it saves a ton of headaches (and boring paperwork)

You should look around and see who offering what deal and good price.

I have seen in pass a grate deal
    Business Bank account
    Personal account
    Credit cards
    Register papers
    Free name cheekup
    Even 6 months office space.

Like i say look around , yellow pages, loot, business papers .

In business you need to own 51 % to be the legal owner of the business in hand .

You are the directing manger if you own 51% or more of your business.

You can then sell your sheres ,or offer to partners.

If uour skint getting a partner with shares is a grate way to get a solid start up capital.

If you do this your need legal advise and a solicitor for contracts.

But i also suggest a accountant.

Make sure you have savings know, for the whole business concept your going in .

Make sure you have written a full business plan
To help you grow your business

Learn about business and pesonal accounts there both deply diffrent.

    Caluculate all your out goings

    Business expense

    Electric bill
    Cost per project

    And

    Personal expense

    House rent
    House food
    House bills
    Ect ect ect

    Profit busines forecast
    Loss forecast
