    Hey guys,

I've been a lurker on this site for a couple months and I've dug myself deeper than where I started. I started making my website about 2 months ago. I wasn't familiar with SEO and I lacked the funds to hire someone who was. The majority of the websites/tests for SEO do not recognize my site and cannot provide me with any data. I recently purchased a couple backlinks, which are not reflecting in my webmaster account. I've been using Authority Labs and my stats continue to fall. I'm unwilling to even look at my Alexa ranking.

Am I able to post my website link here for someone to just take a peak and point me in the right direction?

Also - I apologize if this is the wrong section to be posting this, I just didn't see another that was more relevant.

If you have been a lurker on here you should of known how to do your own work. There are lots of threads that will help you. Plus you have only vaguely alluded to what is wrong and not actually say "I don't have enough content" or "my website is not being indexed".

But BHW is a great community because we are willing to help one another. Below I will post a couple of threads which i think you should read, study and (most importantly) Implement!

Basic Guide - so you have finished building your blog - A good basic guide
The complete guide to starting a website - honestly a bit dated but still a good guide.
My Social Media Blueprint - in depth and an intense process that gets results. But it is useless without having content on your website.

Links take a while to show up in backlink data. Google delays that data a lot, to keep SEOs in check. It's not supposed to be a very dynamic tool to allow you to do SEO, it's just there for reference.

SEO is a process, not something you do overnight. As you can tell, it's a complicated process, as it goes against Google's interests for you to rank for free. They want you buying ads, not ranking with links and SEO. Therefore there is very little you can do white hat.

Other than that, stick around. I would not post the site here, just read up lots and try to adapt the knowledge to your site.
