    INTRODUCTION
Hey what's up, I'm RaveHi! I'm an 18 year old entrepreneur based out of the California Bay area. I recently had the idea to approach the EDM industry from a marketing perspective. I created a concept called EDMM - Electronic Dance Media Marketing! I'm currently getting everything in motion, and starting this journal right from the very beginning!

The idea that I started up is based on EDMM, a concept I came up with the other day. EDMM stands for Electronic Dance Media Marketing, sadly the domain name was already taken so I had to come up with something else. I'm basically going to be offering marketing services to talented DJ's, photographers, promoters, etc. at affordable prices, as well as run a blog on marketing the EDM scene!

I first got into Internet Marketing when I was 15, I had just dropped out of High-school and I was in desperate need of a cash-flow. I started out as an affiliate for an online rave gear store, than I expanded. By the time I was 18 I owned my own design business, and was putting together websites for small businesses, while making hundreds on the side every month through IM! With my background in design & marketing I'm confident that this will be a successful project!

    DAY ONE - 5/21/13

    • Bought domain name!
    • Put together basic graphics!
    • Got a basic site description written up!
    • Started putting together a street-team!
    • Created social media networks!
    • Created a temporary brand!
    • Started Journal on BHW to keep track of progress!

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

The only reason you marketing people love different is because different is the only thing that sells anymore! The only way you'll ever really create success in this world is if you take an original idea and run with it, and that's exactly what I'm doing here!

    DAY TWO - 5/22/13 - 24 hours deep!
Alright things are starting to kick off! I woke up pretty early today to get started on this project, after spending four and a half hours yesterday getting everything started. I put another five hours in today just putting in the basics to get things flowing. It's still before noon out here, I'm gonna clock out for today and rest up for the night-life! I'm gonna be shooting two events tonight and need a little shut-eye.

I'd like to thank everyone for the motivation, I'll do my best to update this journal on a daily basis, and if I miss a few days I'll be sure to fill in what I missed.

    • Wrote an introduction
    • Promoted on Facebook
    • Created a base for the street team
    • Customized Twitter profile
    • Released the first revision of the logo on CafePress

DAY THREE FOUR & FIVE - I be slackin!

Dang, sorry I've been slacking over the last few days, but don't worry I got some things up my sleeve for this weekend! Been dealing with that real life stuff (drinking and bbqing with friends) and haven't had time to put work in on this project at all. I have a few extra hours in front of me today, so I'll write up an article and prepare for the rave that I'll be shooting tonight.

I know I probably got the attention of a lot of you, so I'll try my best to deliver forward with this plan, or pass it on to someone willing to take over, either way the idea will continue. My work has been fairly idle with the project, besides making a post on the social networks once a day, and I haven't really seen much growth at all since I last posted statistics... maybe it's time I deliver some quality content ;)

If you have any question about what I've done, what I have planned, etc. don't be scared to ask, I just might answer.

    DAY SIX - 5/26/13 - Still Slackin
Yesterday wasn't as productive as I was hoping for! I sat around and stared at my computer screen for a few hours, ate some pizza, and slept... I mean I got an improved logo done, but besides that I didn't do anything. I'm gonna have to put in some work next week, but that's fine since I'll have access to my studio again (funk yes!!!). Today I'm just going to put together a "honey do" list for myself & this project!

I'm still hella slackin on this project, but regardless it's still constantly gaining online exposure, regardless of how much effort I'm putting in. I've been trying to get a day job, since my freelance business has dramatically slowed down since I moved. I have an interview tomorrow at a local camera store, so I'll be workin a 10-6 job 5 days a week from now on, don't have the time for this "project" at the moment, but that doesn't mean I've given up on it.

I'll be releasing an article once my FB page gets itself to 100 likes, than once I'm up to 250 likes I'll launch the website. I'm taking this more by the amount of exposure that I have, more-so than anything else right now. Seems like that's the best way to deal with it.

Paid to Rave is just waiting on some funding to come through, than it'll be on full blast. I'm currently starting up another smaller blog, relating to Internet Marketing / web-development. It's a personal blog / journey on how I dropped out of Highschool and started my adventure of a career! Here's the about us that I've written up so far.

Aloha, wassup everyone! I'm Jasper G. I'm an 18 year old entrepreneur & nightlife photographer. I was never to fond of the schooling system, and found myself to be an independent learner. I dropped out of high-school in the middle of my sophomore year. A few months afterwards I found the motivation to begin my career. I started out designing websites locally as a freelancer, than I started doing photography for some of my clientele, after a while I was running marketing campaigns for them and making bank! Now I find myself in a new location, my local clientele is gone, and I need to re-create the success that I once had.

I've been studying Internet marketing techniques for the last three years, so I'm finally taking action with the knowledge that I've picked up along the road. I've dabbled in everything from "GPT" sites, to Black-Hat marketing. I'm going to share with you dozens, if not hundreds of articles pertaining to how ANYONE can succeed online. All of the techniques, methods, and advice that I write about on this site comes from personal experience, and success!

Dropping out of school wasn't necessarily the smartest thing I've done, but it's definitely been an exciting journey. The three years before I turned 18 I didn't really have many options, now that I'm finally an adult I'm going to build up my marketing career, my portfolio, and establish a resume. Once I have a stable income from my endeavors I plan on enrolling in college for journalistic photography, and business. I tend to be extremely ambitious for my age, and will succeed to my fullest potential!

I'm not a full-time marketer, by any stretch. I spend most of my time working my camera, or skating around the streets of the Bay. My main goal right now is to establish myself as a professional marketer for the Electronic Dance Music industry. This will allow me to create a brand for my photography, webdesign, and graphics all in one, as well as develop amazing portfolio content! I plan on taking my career towards a more artistic revolution once I get older, for now, WE PARTY!
