I'm the top ranking for a search term that gets 250,000 searches a month, it's for a trial of a product. But my CPA network is telling me I'm only getting 6 clicks a day? I'm through Maxbounty, is this right?

I've only made $30 off of ONE trial, and I'm on the front page, (Little lower on the front page)

The domain leads STRAIGHT to the CPA offer and does not go through a landing page.... should it?

Can someone tell me what's up with this?

If I were to change the website and make a landing page with links to the trial, would this cause my rank to go down? I feel like I'm in a very VERY interesting situation

You should use heatmap to check this.

How would a heatmap help this?

calculate site visits to click through and then tell us that. Just because you ae on page does not mean you will get a tonne of traffic. First 3 sites get majority of traffic.

Depends what the keyword is and how relevant the top listings are. I was #5 for 'bodybuilding' which was something like 650,000 monthly searches and only got around 100-200 visitors per day because most of the people are going to click the top couple links for a term like that.

You need to gather as much info as you can to begin with - How many visitors are you getting from Google at the moment? If you dont know maybe you can add some tracking code before your domain is redirected to the offer?

Once you know that is right then as said above you need to really check out what visitors are doing when they get to the offer - although that might be difficult if you have no control over that offer page.

Hehe, I know that niche! It was because everybody was looking for or going to bodybuilding.com huh? I had a similar issue and moved on. Small world!

That's exactly what it is. I've had a ton of success in the niche indirectly, but this site was actually a spam site that shot up to top five, I was interested in it because of the volume of search. See bodybuilding.com at the top, your search is over.
