Extremely excited to share this news with your guys. I have reached a milestone in my weight loss journey.

I am doing the 1200 calorie diet with mostly OMAD format though I take lite snacks and coffee in the evening to help me relax. I also walk around 16k steps each day in two shifts.

Any queries? I'll be happy to help!!

Good for you!

Yeah, make the change permanent by not seeing what you're doing as a "diet".... this is part of your lifestyle. It's part of who you are.

Like waking up, taking a shower, brushing your teeth and being a digital marketer - it's just part of who you are. Come rain or shine :)

Just make sure you sustain it, that's the most important thing right now.

Good job! Keep going and crush your goals :D

Thank you, everyone, for all the kind messages. Yes, I will not stop here. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to maintain the lower weight once I reach the target as I now count all of my calories.

i also want to lose 12-13Kgs. I will try OMAD too and walking with my dog as he needs to lose 8-10Kgs too

Whats your height?
178 cm or 6' 10

Yes, walking is the easiest exercise you could do. Just walk at your normal pace. Keep a step counter with you.

Even more than OMAD, keep the calorie count low like between 1000-1200 calories. You can have one cheat day in a week. Yes, you can eat all you want but do keep the macros(protein carbs fats) to a healthy level.

Pacer rocks.
I am at 112kg lol.
Strictly I need to have control over my diet lol.
For me, everything is controllable on your eating diet.
The less you eat and drink more water, your weight loss will be so fast.
But that does not mean you should not eat and go like crazy Eating 1 Roti over normal 3.
I just mean to say eat enough to get vital vitamins and proteins.

That's amazing man.

I've been doing omad for 4 or 7 months. But had to quit because of medicine screwed up my stomach and I have stomach aches all the time now and I have to be eating regularly.

It is amazing though. Keep it up

No worries man! You can start again. Make sure to take potassium citrate tablets to reduce the danger of stones.

Congrats on that. I've been going from 90+ to 70+ and back a couple of times now. Unfortunately, I am in my 90s for now. Will drop again at some time :))

I have been up and down with my weight my entire life. The fastest I lost weight was 70 lbs in 12 week. It was a high protien low carb diet. Started with an hour of exercise and by the end of the 12 weeks I was doing 3 hours a day. It wasn't something I could sustain and my job changed and I no longer had the time to work out, prepare meals and started grabbing fast food out of convenience.

Needless to say over the past few years I regained all the weight and then some. 6 weeks ago I went back on the same diet but I continually monitor my calories and macros, my experience is strictly walking at this point. I would love to find the time to get weight training in but I just don't have it. In the lasr 6 weeks I have lost 28 lbs. What I am doing I feel will be sustainable longterm.

The key to longterm sucess is finding a diet that you can sustain longterm and make it a new lifestyle

Great job on losing all that weight. It feels incredible to complete such an accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. Best of luck on your longterm weightloss sucess.

1200 is way too low, make sure you won’t gain that wieght back when you will eat the normal 2500 calories per day.

I my self about 90 kg/ 200 lbs, but I have about 14% of fat because I lift heavy I gain muscle mass, you should train as well to maintain your new weight.

Anyway, good job so far, and best of luck in the future!

As a health and fitness pro, you have no idea how happy this thread makes me, lol. It's nice to see people taking care of their health and fitness, and more importantly getting away from their laptops/ computers haha. Amazing journey. Following the rest :)

Thanks, man! Appreciated!

Wow! 70lbs in 12 weeks is awesome.

BTW, I get your point, man. I'm not eating anything that I won't be able to do after I have lost the weight. I do eat outside too but I only eat what I can calculate and nothing else. I take your concern seriously and I will make sure I keep in track after the weight is lost.

P.S I'm changing my dietary habits for some time even before I started the diet. I don't eat anything with large amount of sugar or fat. I use an artificial sugar supplement in my drinks too :)

I used to do 800-1K. I think 1200 is enough as long as I'm taking enough protein and supplements. Thanks!!

What does the 1200 calories mostly consist of? (carbs, proteins, fat)
