I'm now donating 2% of recurring sales to charity - would you consider doing the same?

I have decided to start donating 2% of all my sales revenue to my favourite charity. I still have some debts I'm paying off, but things are really under control for the first time in many years for me.

2% isn't a whole lot, but it's before my expenses which is easier for me to work off. My site will show how much I have raised since I started this (2 days ago).

The charity I am giving to is The Kids Cancer Project.

If you have a BST here on BHW would you consider doing the same? You don't have to give a lot to make a big difference.

I'm not going to update this thread on how much I've raised, that's not the point. What I want to do is to get those of you that are doing well in IM thinking about giving back to your local communities in some way.

I'll donate money to charity when I have money for it. Until then I find the best solution to be reinvesting and reinvesting. Sometimes I donate like 10 or 20 EUR, but I won't start donating percentage of my income I think, unless I become rich.

Thats a good encouragement, I happily appreciate your idea, I feel like every one should give some sort of charity, and they shouldn't look on the number, because you never know, your donated 1$ can might save some one's life.
