I've been bookmarking quite a bit lately using BMD and some fiverr gigs.

I've noticed, the keywords I've been pushing are moving really slow, up a few then down a few...

Question--> I entered my keyword in quotes into google. My site will pop up on the first page, instead of third. Can I use this new knowledge to move positions in some other way? Now that I see google points to my site when I enter "puppies", how can I integrate this info into my seo process?

I know, weird question, any thoughts!!?

I don't really think it means much that your site shows up when you put the keyword in quotes. I would just start building some links using high PR blog posts to your site. I don't think bookmarking does much.

What are you using to look at your position. It is not accurate when you just type it in your web browser. Google keep track of your searches and results you click on, so they will display results that you like, including your website first.

Puppies is a very competitive keyword. I don't think you can rank for that simply using bookmarking daemon and some fiverr gigs. Check your ranking with something more reliable.

The only way it helps you is if someone searched with the quotes.

Thanks for your thoughts, I have a wordpress arcade site I'm promoting.

A friend of mine is doing somewhat well promoting his arcade site with ONLY bookmarks and is making a living from the google ppc on his site.

So he told me to build a wp arcade site and follow his procedure, my wp site is now 3 months old, and I've been bookmarking like a mad man to HIGH pr/******** sites, 100 a day or so, but have yet to see anything but bouncing. The 2 keywords Im promoting actually went down 2 positions. hmmmmmmm, do I just need more links like everybody else?

My keyword density is, on average 1.7%
His keyword density is, on average 2.2%

I can only see my efforts through yahoo, maybe google sees me as too young yet. Many of my pages are indexed in google, but the pages I'm promoting don't pop up when I type the keywords in.

Any chance the wp arcade script isn't as google friendly as my friends regular site?

hmm, answer-> more backlinks and low competetive keywords?? :) ..
