right in the middle of my feeling all kinds of gratitude for a bunch of people here, the "Thanks" button disappears.

Thank you. (Whew! I at least got one in)

What is the quota limit on? Is it the number of people we thank or the number of people thanked us? I have seen the Thanks button disappearing for certain members such as WizGizmo who post lot of useful stuff .. that will only inflate the thank you posts for such members.

The max "Thanks" you can give in a day is 20.
