I'm looking to buy a eBay account do I need to original PayPal attached to it?

    So I'm about to buy a eBay account but the seller doesn't want to sell me the PayPal with ur.

    do I need that PayPal or can I make a new PayPal and attach it to that eBay account?

    It appears, you just need to unlink the existing PayPal and link the new one. I'm not sure how safe/wise is to do that though. But the option is there nevertheless, so i guess there should be legit reasons for doing so.

    Although make sure that your new PayPal cannot be linked to any previous PayPal account or else it might get banned along with the eBay account you linked to.

    Does the name of the new PayPal have to match the info on the existing eBay?

    The accounts are not linked, you're allowed to switch PayPal accounts. I've done this recently.
