Hi all,
My IM journey started around 7 months ago. I've made some money thanks to my ebooks so far, but not much. I haven't hit anything close to four figures yet, sadly.

Also, since I don't feel comfortable putting all my eggs into the same basket, I'm going to do affiliate marketing, CB and/or Amazon.
I don't know which one is best and if I should try both.

I'm extremely busy right now, and I spend several hours a day reading this forum for my personal education on SEO and IM.

In the near future (could be months as I need to be prepared first), I will:

* Buy a domain name (something brandable that would go with most affiliate websites would do, I guess? Like pat flynn's policehq website. I want to make many subdomains, then promote different products.
(I'm not sure yet if I'll promote one CB or several related CB per website, we will see!)
Get a hosting provider.

I've already chosen both companies.

* Make several MNS optimized for affiliate marketing. At that point, I'll make a brand new CB account so that it's all fresh and I can track everything properly.

* Write about 10 articles (original content) related to the niche I've picked. I've already picked one niche right now.

* Focus mainly (if not exclusively) on on-site SEO to get visitors. How can I learn to find good keywrds with Market Samurai (from the DL section) and maybe longtail keyword?* Comment very, very lightly on websitesand blogs.

Ebooks:
CURRENT GOAL:
* Write several ebooks that I'll publish later at some point when I finally get a tax number which would allow me to not pay the 30% US withholding tax.
* Current goal is 15-30 minutes a day of ebook writing.
The rest of my time will be used for college as I'm super late, and reading BHW (affiliate marketing).

Today's update:
I made a really small amount of money (passive income).
I've also decided against buying a d0ma1n and h0sting for now. I don't have the time to care for a website seriously right now, and I also want to test-drive my idea on a free host first.

My first test drive a few days ago failed completely and netted me almost 0 visitors. I have many things to do, Wordpress and SEO to learn (looking for advice with that), keyword optimization... THEN I'll make a serious website.

EDIT: 30 minutes turned into several hours of ebook-writing today. :D I'll finish this particular book tomorrow.
Before anyone asks, yes, I've already published over 10 books for Am4z0n, and yes, I'm getting a tiny recurring passive income from those.

My goal is to have 10 more books published by the end of March. I know it's entirely possible, though I'm not sure I'll earn much from them.

Writing ebooks is a labor of love for me. I'm happy about the pocket money, but I'm not willing to go too far, especially since I need to remain 100% whitehat.

I have a basic plan that I follow every time, so it does make things simpler. All I need is a massive amount of ideas.

So, I'm sure many of you doubt I'll make it, given how many people give up on their journeys.
Well, I will not give up on my ebook journey. I will have 10 or 11 books ready for publication by March 30.

Progress so far:
2 books are ready for publication
1 book is 30% DONE

What I've done today:
I've written a 3rd of my 3rd book. I should progress very rapidly and finish writing this book on February 25th.

Roadblocks:
I need ideas for the next 8 books. I should look at what is selling on Zon.

You seem committed with a plan in place. With this you are already ahead of many of the failures. You have a long way to go from reading your posts. (None of us master the whole game).

Keep it up though. Keep reading learning and taking action as you are doing and you will get there. Good luck.

Be smart about your ebook titles and backlink those amazon product pages. They rank very easy on google!

Thanks guys. I should create some web 2.0's for my Amazon product pages when I have time. I'll do that in the future. I'm done for today, but given how unproductive I am with my college studies right now, I might read BHW. We'll see!

Make book in series.
In this way you earn more as if people buys 1 book and likes it, then they really buy second book for sure.
I have been doing in this way only but uploaded only 4 books in total.

hm rarely see people start out with ebooks, I'm interested in how this journey will turn out. Wish you the best of luck!
