Sorry if this wasn't posted in the right place, but I put it where I thought most appropriate.

Currently I'm in a bit of a pinch and I was hoping someone could help me out.

I'm a young guy who has recently lost his job and now mostly stays home and takes care of My Grandmother who has Alzheimers.

I have heard a lot about work at home opportunities but I never had much time untill now to look further into it.

I had a good sum of money that I had saved up previously in case of an emergency like this and I'm living off of it right now.

I just buy the neccessities and thanks to my generous Grandfather I usually only spend an average of $70 a week to live.

I would like to have a source of extra income working from the house because I'm a big help to my Grandfather when I stay at home and nurse my grandmother.

But all the information I read about what works and what doesn't is very confusing because there are many conflicting reports.I have a hard time understanding it seeing as I'm a noob

I don't want to start on something that doesn't work because I'd like to earn income ASAP and help out with the bills. Please help me find something to start with that is more simple and less complicated.

I'm not looking for much,My first goal is $10 a day or $70 a week which will cover my current cost for weekly living. After that I'll work on building up after I become more comfortable with this business.

Any advice from you guys would be most appreciated.

$70 a week is not too hard. Pick a big affiliate program that a lot of people recommend, and get to work trying different methods of promoting it. Whitehat SEO if probably the best thing to try for a total newb, you gotta learn the basics.

The PLR idea could work and it is easy to do. Promoting affiliate programs can make a lot of money but it is not easy right away if you do not have the skills yet

You can make money by offering services that people want to outsource - writing articles - making posts - building links - use whatever skills you have

Set aside some time every day to learn new skills and soon you will be able to earn more money for yourself

Another thing you could do is to signup for an affiliate program and since you are only wanting to make at least 10-20 a day.

Create a blog and put up email/zip submits that allow you to incentivize. They only pay maybe 80 cents - 1.25 a lead but what you can do is offer a PLR package in exchange for the submit.

You could easily find people that would be willing to submit their email in exchange for something useful.
