After the last update of google the rank of my website fall a lot for the most important keywords of the niche, i was usually in top10, i had do the offpage seo buying backlinks in BHW...it works fine the first months and my site go to top10, but after the update my ranking fall to the 7th page...8th page...
Actually my site have 800 pages indexed in google and i have a stable traffic of 4K visitors monthly even if i dont rank for important keywords...what could happen if i delete all the shit backlinks and i begin from 0 the linkbuilding? will i lose traffic?

i rank for many keywords in the top 20 without any backlinks, (medium competition)

of course it all depends on your comp.

look at it this way, you got hit, you wont loose anything removing your backlinks

What is your keyword density per article?

Don't delete all your backlinks yet, give Link Detox a try as I heard it was good.

Removing all backlinks basically tells google that no one wants to link to your site. Bad juju.

No, it tells Google that the webmaster doesn't want 'those' links pointing to his/her site.
    Big difference.

Link Detox will point out the bad links you have and give a report to you.

When you get the bad links, you just put them in the Disavow Tool.

Wait about 3-4 weeks to see if the changes are affecting your website in a positive way or not.

Only remove your bad links. Contact as many of the webmasters first to see if they can remove it for you before using the disavow tool.

You won't lose rankings but you will need to add more quality links to get you back on top of the serps.

All of them? So basically you're telling Google that all links pointing to your site are spam and no one of value links to your site.

    Think about it, genius.

First of all, why did you purchase so many 'shit backlinks'? SEO is a risky game, and things like this can happen. If you want, you should create an authority site. Get it high up there, then whenever you post an article, you do not need SEO done.

If he wants to remove them all he can. It just tells Google that he wants to start a completely fresh, new online presence.
If he knows what links are good then yes, by all means keep the good links.

You said removing all backlinks tells Google that nobody wants to link to the site. It doesn't say that at all. Removing ALL backlinks via disavow tells them that you want to start a completely new backlink profile.

I'm not saying what he should or shouldn't do, just clarifying what it would mean if he disavowed ALL backlinks.

    Think about it, genius.
