Everything under the sun is attempting to keep me away from this game, including my connection speed which took me over a week just to successfully download it. Mother of balls.

I had a dispute in my Paypal which put my balance into the red by a little over $5 due to the buyer somehow winning a case he had no business filing to begin with.

My clean-files account is (and has been) sitting at $45 for around a month now without anybody going towards it for survey downloads (All of my methods are whitehat) which means I'm a little over $4 away from my $50 payout.

The website where I used to get all of my freelance programming work isn't showing me any love here recently either.

My Google Adsense account is hardly over half-way to the payment mark and won't be there for awhile.

I'm starting to think Fiverr hates me: http://gyazo.com/1fe0d0a8833cbb88f80e103a08152261

    [rage][cry]Why can't I manage to scrape up the $60 for this game?![/cry][/rage]
    [/rant]

No but seriously, does anybody know of any freelancing websites programmers/web-developers/article writers can go to and get paid via PayPal very quickly? Most of them are filled with indians doing programming work for $2.95 an hour. ( Not trying to insult anybody from india, this is just the reality and where I'm at a programmers salary is $35/hr +... I'm not even looking for $10 an hour, but $3 is just too low. )

    Scenario 1.

    Get $60
    Spend it on a game
Waste huge amounts of time playing the game instead of working.

Result - Can't afford to buy the next game you want.

    Scenario 2

    Get $60
Invest it in creating an income stream for yourself
Spend all your time working instead of playing games

Result - Can buy any game you want

I spend around 8+ hours a day working on my website and preparing content for my YouTube channels. I've been working my ass off for no reward for awhile, but I'm keeping at it. I typically invest every penny I get back into it and it does help, but a $-250 chargeback on my account really stabbed me in the wallet.

I don't think wanting to spend a little time with some friends online will be a problem, considering It will benefit my YouTube channel anyway if I was to just record it.

Spend the last of your money buying a game then.

Don't even think about spending it on a better internet service - that would be a terrible business decision.

If you can't scrape $60 together why on earth would you be buying a video game?

Seriously, not trying to be a dick...but I see zero logic here.

It's like the people bitching about "the rich getting richer" as they sit home unemployed not trying to find work.

Priorities are out the window all around...

Oh well, good luck. Hope you get your game...

I'm stuck playing Skyrim until Dragon Age comes out. No good games for PS4 right now.

You make me sick OP. You do what you have to do, to get what you want.
Don't want to work for $3p/h fine, but don't bitch that you can't buy a Video game.
    20 Hours Work and you could have got it, 4 hours/pd x $3 p/h = job done.
The difference between you and those Indians?
They can afford to buy whatever Game they want because they are working their nuts off for it.

Yeah you need to get your priorities right. We all have to work for what we want, and video games are a luxury which you buy from money you can afford not to have.
I suggest you get a p/t job away from the internet, focus on online work in your other free time, and combined you will have money for video games, and to make more money.

Lets do the math on this.

You wont lower yourself to working for $3 an hour. Although you have worked 8 + hours a day on your website and youtube channel for a month and earned $45.

If you had freelanced 8 hours a day for a month at $3 an hour you would have $720 in your account right now. You could have bought a copy of the game for all your friends and some pizza.

Indian freelancers are ballin you out of the game pal.

I'm having a hard time feeling sympathy for you. My youngest son goes to college until 11 at night on some nights, and also washes dishes in a restaurant. This year so far has landed him in the emergency room three times due to his job. Someone spilled boiling water/oil combo on him and he was in the emergency room with burns on his back. He has gotten stitches twice this year. You have to get a job if you want nice things.

I know you want to play your game but make it as your " reward " when you succeed at least one good goal like $1,000 a month or something. Spending time with your pals are cool as long as you know your priorities.

Don't think that all online employers will only hire cheap workers, there are tons of people who would buy a service that is 10x - 20x times more expensive than the market price. What you really need is a good value preposition and how you present yourself. Learn about this stuff. If you are not good with sales and don't wanna deal with client's bullshit then partner up with someone who is.

Actually, making money online isn't hard at all, it's all about your approach to it.

This is brutal honesty right here, and I was in the same boat as you at some point, but first you have to establish yourself before you can establish an online persona.

Look at it! So shiny, awesome, and packed full of lasting adventures! I will never forget the day
I initially opened the box and could smell the sweet scent of a fresh unopened game. Oh....you don't have it bro....?
