    And they call it Digital Marketing.

    Code:
    http://www.hult.edu/lp/v05/ma/mdm
    So how about letting people know you are "Digital Marketing Consultant" rather than "Internet Marketer"

    And I'm wondering if they've got anything new in there or just rehashed stuff from the 90's with some filler fluff to meet required semester credits.

    It would depend on who you are talking to. If you are talking to large businesses, then "Digital Marketing Consultant" might sound more professional. But if you are talking to the "average joe", non-savvy businessman, "Internet Marketer" would be a more understandable term to them, I would imagine.

    You'll get a blank stare regardless of what term you use.

    This seems really stupid. Hello, the whole friggin' point of being in IM is so that you don't have to go and apply for a 9-5 job! When I have made it in IM, I will roll up in my Ferrari, not hand someone a business card that says "Digital Marketing Consultant".

    LMAO!:haha::microwave

    That school should just setup a redirect link over to the warrior forum:spankme:, then at least those students might almost learn something... Just please, keep them the hell out of here!

    I went in and downloaded their brochures. The file name of the brochure was more telling.

    Master of Digital Communications Brochure

    Although they go on to talk abt Digital Marketing inside the brochure, I guess "Digital Communications Consultant" could be more understable and sound more professional, especially to other MBA's and corporate folks.

    That's it. We are not Marketing (which is too broad and advertising-like) ... but we are Communicating.

    Identity crisis problem solved ... or has it?

    @thinkinghat,

    Wow, you are a "Digital Communications Consultant"? Then you most own twitter.com, right? Hey, do you think you could get me a hook up for a free account? My "Professor" of Digital Marketing said that I need to start twitting, or tweeting or twatting or something. Can you please show me how?

    LOL!
