it says the avg position of my ads are page 4. which is why im hardly getting any impressions. im guessing its because of low cpc. however i have my cpc at 0.50 already. also all the kw's avg cpc is less than 0.50 (according to the ad intelligence tool). so i don't get it. (my keywords/niche is IM)

    Georges,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. You are right that you aren't getting impressions because your ads are not appearing on page 1 or 2. Statistically, less than 30% of people travel past the first page of search results.

Have you tried looking at other resources for CPC information? For example Google's keyword tool has internet marketing and related keywords at around 11 dollars per click. Naturally the search volume from different search engines will warrant them to charge differently for the same keywords however the discrepancy should not be so large, especially with Microsoft Ad center.

Here is some more information on estimating keyword cost,

Here is a list of CPC tools that may be useful,

Hope you can get your campaign back on track!
