Unfortunately the only way to find out is to use both and you decide which is better. Don't they offer trial licenses?

gsa is a decent tool for your first bit of software . You will be able to get it building links straight away....although these will be crappy links until you know what you are doing.

Scrapebox will give you a lot more options but its a tool that will require you to do work.

If you are only working on one site then you will build far higher links manually by yourself...might be better off saving your budget to buy gsa/rumer links to the quality web 2.0s you have manually built

Get both, it's not like they're expensive or anything.

It's not the tool, it's how you use it.

Don't buy either tool. You don't sound like you know a thing about SEO.
So neither of these tools will do much good for you.

Google doesn't give a shit about sites with "little to no content". So if you're too lazy to make more content,
you're probably too lazy to educate yourself about SEO. And you'll wind up buying either program, using it,
seeing no results, then blaming the software rather than yourself.

I mean seriously. These programs do 2 totally different things. So if you had any clue about SEO, you wouldn't
even need to ask this question. And if you knew anything about GSA, you would have asked about spinning
    software which you didn't.

My recommendation, stop looking for the easy way out. Its been proven thousands of times, that training and
education increase ROI more than any other factor you can think of. Its also the reason why most newbies on
this forum fail. They don't have a genuine passion for learning. "Education" to them is reading a few threads
about xxxx topic. No experimentation, no action, no testing and tracking, no weekly goals, no organized business
plan, no ambition. They read about things for 1 day, then never read about them again etc etc. Then they ask
these abstract, ambiguous questions, that nobody can answer properly, because the questions themselves are
    crass.

Spot on analysis. If only people would fully commit to lifelong learning, failing, and success. That is not going to happen however, I guess you could call it a silver lining really. Less competition.

If you only have the money for one go w/ GSA or Ultimate Demon. GSA might be better to start with just because it can do more platforms, but Ultimate Demon is a bit easier to use and is more reliable.

Be sure to read up on all the tutorials and stuff out on the web before getting started or you can really screw your site up if you don't know what you're doing.

This forum needs a University sub-section where the veterans can go about explaining items within the SEO pyramid to people who are new to SEO. For example, how to take a site + keyword and rank it high on the SERPs. And please don't think I mean a simple how-to guide. What I mean is more along the lines of "I did this, I looked for this, I researched this and MOST helpful I used this" to get results. But results without an understanding is meaningless.

To the OP: I'll agree with the general idea found in most replies. Start small, do more reading and research then you can look into automation. When things work very well for one site/keyword then you can take what you know and scale it up.

Actually spend the money to buy articles and do proper on-site SEO before you even start link building. A website with little/no content won't rank at all unless you're churn and burning here, which I doubt because honestly you have no idea what you're doing. Thinking to buy the "dream" SEO software to 1-click rank your websites won't get you anywhere!

I really can't give you a definitive answer on this one, I personally use both GSA and scrapbox, GSA has some great stuff going for it, and scrapbox can be much more than just a SEO tool.

You're going to need a lot of study, trial and error... But, GSA is a highly recommended tool. Versatile and powerful.
