After 5 years of doing business on my own and selling in many e-commerce fields, but all of them did their own research and did not ask anyone for help, they all failed in the midst of criticism.

Marketing is a very random science, it's a science of taking chances. The more chances you take, the more chances to succeed. Also, during that process, you should be spotting things in the wild that you can only spot by taking chances.

Occasionally, it happens that someone just go in and succeeds with their first ecommerce, but for everyone who succeeds, there are like 50 or 100 others that miserably fail and don't tell this. Generally noone talks about their failures, but you here (and in this kind of forums you can read both sides, which is good, check subforums and you will see plenty).

Just consider, if you like doing what you did, or if it was a massive hassle and if you have other alternatives opportunities to choose from, so you may opt to switch your job or keep trying.

its not to late to start smoking crack and begin living on the streets :weep:

I'm disoriented with what is being said.

Job or business?

Or business is job?

Business was never meant to be a job.

It's like a time based lottery where you put tons of settings and tests until you roll the correct thing and then push it with money of your family, your own, from your job, from loans etc.

5 years in business is nothing btw.

It's like having a degree; bachelor or major; whatever. It doesn't mean much at all!

I know some people will say "you can make it in 3 years". Yes, if you know what you're doing already.

I remember when I was 22 I was panicking I haven't made that yet. 4 years later still nothing. 12 years combined - got nothing beyond experience & knowledge.

Then I got it - you have 10 - 15 major experiences when you're 25. That's nothing. You know nothing at that age.

For 2 decades I had been living under someone's supervision. It was like living demo life.

Marketing can be a difficult job. Some become successful in just a few years and some can take decades. It's really about being consistent and persevering too.

Next time use the correct word which is "work" instead of "job". I think it makes more sense.
