I'm desperately looking for a way to get traffic on this dropshipping website!

    Hi Everyone,

I've launched this online marketplace called Kwaleo a month ago.

The point is to help people finding products that match their lifestyle.

I have a few brands on board and a great looking platform but I didn't make any sales so far which is very frustrating. So far I had a little bit more than 1K views last month but it's nothing.

Here's what I've been doing to get some traffic:

    - Posting on a daily basis on: Facebook, twitter, instagram, soundcloud, pinterest and medium accounts
    - Contest on instagram
    - Partnerships with coffee shops
    - Facebook ads
    - Posting on reedit
    - Pitching at startup events

but the traffic is still very low. I've also tried to get in touch with influencers, journalists and bloggers but no luck ...

Please help, I really don't understand what's going on.

    Thanks

Have you tried posting ads on Craigslist and Classifiedsforfree?

Firstly, i will like to say you facebook ads + Dropshipping is a waste of time. I think social traffic is the best:congrats:, try building a facebook fan page or doing the instagram thing.

Build up your social profile as you are doing, haven't tried fb ads so I won't comment on that. Product related discussion forums are one of the best converting places. Try finding discussions on social media like G+, Facebook groups. Instead of directly promoting your product, you can join a related discussion and promote as a buyer with a review or suggestion.

That's an interesting idea for the site! I just visited it and IMO the site design could be tweaked some more.

If you are not already doing these, I would recommend:
    a) Setting up social media automation with Followliker of Mass Planner
    b) Buying a few thousand fake followers and likes for your social profiles in order to seem more popular

Instagram ads is what can help you since it is still fresh. Also think out of the box and approach forums which have similar type of content and place ads there or go on rev sharing with forum owners by contacting them. That will help big time.

As mentioned by other member here. Contact forums and make them promote your website/product and give them commission. It is well worth it and really an effective method

that's easy, you create a turnkey app -there are tons of free creator tools in the niche you want, then you show in-app ads for your product.

It's much MUCH easier to rank and use their system where app store search is something everyone uses and where few competitors are there.

LOL at the prices. Nobody will buy that shit for that much. You need to have realistic prices and also, your categories are very vague, you should laser-target a few niches and get some targeted traffic to those specific pages from social media and you should see some sales. Oh and the site design can definitely be improved.

I would suggest working on the site, not only social media. Getting visitors is only part of the process, the main part is make sales and sales not always depend on amount of visitors.
I think your ads/collaborations bring you customers but they don't buy because they are not your audience and/or because of the website.

When I visited I saw few popups, usually you get popup asking you to sign up, or signup to get discount, while your site gives me an option to 'get started' or 'browse products' and then 'filter', you are making your visitor to complete 2-3 steps before the view the website, while you should make your sale in 3 steps... . Some products led to inner pages and some products lead to other sites. I'm not sure that such experience will make lots of sales unless correctly represented.

If I were you I would change your current website/business setup.

Hi, I've posted an ad on craiglist and it brought some traffic but not enough to make a sale.

    I'll try: Classifiedsforfree

    Thank u

The thing is that people don't really buy from facebook, nor from instagram, they see the post and just like or comments ... twitter works best. But it takes time to build an audience on it. At the moment I just have 500 followers ... :-/
