Im confused about Autoblogs

well there is a method on blogspot where you can auto blog with newsletter or something like that.

anyways my question is...

How does google index you and rank you if the keyword your focusing on isnt in the posts at all. because with autoblogs the content thats posted has nothing to do with your keyword. but so many people say they get ranked in the top10 on google with there autoblog. could someone kindly explain ?

We are in the same boat, i'm wondering about it too.I want to use autoblog too since i heard mostly that they help you rank higher on search engine like google. And i have the same question , how can it get us ranked higher because are keyword is not used in the first place.
