IM bot

I have about 5K of emails I autorespond daily. I'm trying to move away from this and replace it with IM bot. I tried to search IM bot on this forum, but for some reason nothing came up. (Is the search working ) Anyhow, can someone recommend a good IM bot solution?

I dont understand. Do you need an email autoresponder or an instant messenger autoresponder?
