How easy is it to doing a bit of traveling while also being in IM? I'm thinking it should be kind of easy, right? As long as you have internet and take time to do work each day.

Yes you are right but it can be done if you can earn many to bear the cost of frequent traveling

As long as you don't go anywhere too interesting, it's fine. It can be hard to work up the will to work when you really want to go out. Also keep in mind that, unless you work from a laptop at home, it can be a pain to use such a limited setup. I always bring an extra monitor (also a mouse, but that goes without saying) when I travel, just because I can't live with any fewer than two (my setup at home has 8, but that would fill all of my checked baggage). If you can do all of that, IM+travel works fine.

I would not advise cruises, every time I go I spend over £200 just on the net - checking emails.

IM great to work at home - buts holidays a little difficult for me, I check email at airport then again after flight then again at hotel or villa. F???ing nightmare - still get disputes

I think it's a grey area-- if you're working for someone outside of the country you're in, it's okay. If you're working for yourself and all your stuff is hosted in another country, it's okay. It's just when you start taking clients that're located where you are that there might be a problem (I think).

I do it all the time, love my vacations.

The key is to give yourself a time slot, usually after dinner I leave 1-2 hours for work and then I can go out for drinks etc. after that. Then when I wake up 30-45 minutes to check e-mail etc.
