*I'm in a library in Nyc, why am I getting two different ip addresses

Yea so I'm at the library, trying to see if these wireless networks would give me a different IP, everytime I connect and the sites I am going to are giving me, different IP addresses but , there are only two ip addresses.

Its either one or the other

Any ideas ??

that's weird.

you would get better answers on network forums.

they have 2 internet connections. the router randomizes it.
its called dual wan.

Ok, makes sense. But I wont get a new IP, when I reconnect I think I have but when I reconnect I get one new ip and an old one. How will I know which one I am on :o??

i just mean if he is doing /ipconfig then hes seeing his 2 internal ips not that library actually has 2.

Well I am not using internal Ip information.

I am going, to whatismyip, which I think is being unreliable for me. IP chickn is working for me.

Everytime I reconnect to the library's network I get a new IP, and ip chicken is showing me this accurately.

another good one is...

Code:
http://ipchicken.com
and depending on what you are doing and what's needed, you can usually connect to a proxy via...

Well I am posting on craigslist so, I dont know if these proxy's are going to give me the softblock..
