I'm a content writer and I need a long-term partnership with someone who needs high-quality content over a long period of time. I'm actually willing to work for anyone who's interested, but even so there are some specific things I'm looking for:

    • Getting paid at intervals: I don't need each article's money deposited just after the receipt of the article. Instead, I want a record-keeping type of mechanism. Once the price hits a big number, I would ask for payment myself.
    • Not too strict deadlines: I've seen that I need flexible timings to write more natural content. "Are you done?" "Where are the other 20 articles?" "Here, I need you to rewrite these 1000 articles in 1 minute. Warm regards :)" -- these kind of partnerships often bore me to death.
So basically what I need is a compassionate and friendly content seeker. I'm willing to strike a long-term loyal partnership you see.

So, for this, how do I begin looking for people? Any help appreciated~

I would love working with you, but there are several questions i would love to get answered. Questions like:

    How much do you charge?
What is your Niche speciality or you can write on general topics?

I have a general website which is need of articles ranging from Mum cares, Technology and so on.

Just like i said, i would love to work with you. Please PM me.

I would like to see some samples of your writing and publicly get the answers to what wisdomkid asked. I need to see if you can do Gawker style commentary on entertaining topics.

There are some opportunities right there from well respected forum members. The biggest thing to do in my opinion is get out there and start looking around at freelancer sites, or the hire-a-freelancer section here at BHW. As others have said, having a portfolio of work can go a long ways towards demonstrating your skills. Establishing those long term contracts generally comes down to under-promising and over-delivering on the quality of your content.

If you contract for well crafted, possibly viral and/or trending commentary and deliver on people's expectations they will certainly line up for more orders. Many will know right away IF you are the one they want creating this kind of content for them, so sometimes it doesn't take that many contacts to establish a decent partnership, and then you start get some reputation for having the skill set to effectively offer the service.

    Hi all.

I charge $1.2 per 100 words so that means $6 per 500 words.
I can write about a wealth of subjects. But not those which have a low scope for research.

And as I said, I need time to work on each article separately and make it great. The more I revise the better it becomes.

I've sent a PM to the interested ones asking their email so that I can send them a couple samples.

Hey Wisdomkid, I dont intend to hijack the post just wanted to ask if you are in a need of one more writer. I could write for you at 3$ per 500 words. I can also handle bulk work. I am Newbie so can't PM. As my research skills are pretty much developed I can write on many niches but in particular Tech and review.

I am feeling good that are interested to get more exposure as a content writer. However, don't think you are offering some strict terms for your services for employers. In my opinion, they will not pay you after each single article, if you want to work on long term basis.
