    Hey guys!

Surprisingly, I'm on first page with my ezine article only after a week or so of posting it.

I didn't even build backlinks, and I have position #6!

Seeing how easy that was, I want to get all of the page 1 results with a bunch of web 2.0 properties!

    So I have 2 questions:
    1) How would you suggest that I get from position 6 to position 1?
    2) How would you suggest that I dominate all of page 1 with web 2.0 properties?

    Thank You!

maybe try link wheel, i myself dont believe in ezine....
they have less power than real sites

but try to push some links, or create more similar ezines so you will have better chances

Your article may drop after a bit, it usually flies to the top and then drops a bit. I would simply build links to the URL of your article, and also build links to your 2.0 URLs as well.

If you want to take number one see how many backlinks the person in the number one spot has- then get more. Make sure your backlinks have the exact anchor text for the phrase or keyword you are targeting. It should be easy because ezine is an authority site.

If you need any help just PM me and I can fill you in.

The #1 page is a truveo site and has 0 backlinks.
#2 is a buzzle site and has 4 backlinks
#3 is a youtube site and has 0 backlinks.

What does the "Google Indexed" number mean?

And will social bookmarking count for backlinks?

    Thanks!

Sometimes, no matter what, it remains a mystery... Everything stated on this page is true... so do a truveo site, slightly different content.. do a buzzle site... do a video... push them all, including your article... then own the page and not just one spot.

If it's an ezinearticles.com aritcle, then have some people comment about it... ping the page, basically do it all and never rest on your laurels.

Create a linkwheel around web 2.0 properties. Add fresh content - bookmark it all. Wait a week - add new fresh content. Bookmark again.

Use Yahoo Answers to post and reply (keyword rich).
Then you should be very fine.

Publish an article on GoArticles and get high PR backlinks to the article.

i suggest for each keyword you want to dominate
    1 ezine article
    1 squidoo lens
    1 blogger blog
    1 youtube video
    1 yahoo answers

make sure you link them all together.
now for each one of the magic 5.

bookmark them to as any sites as possible. comment on each one 5 times as well.
and write a press release for each one.

you have now dominated page #1 of google.

rinse and repeat till you own the niche.
then perform weekly maintenence to keep it going. (outsource)

EDIT: once you make it to the top of google, to make sure you own the keyword for all its worth.
go to secondary sites like truveo/wordpress/metacafe/answers.com/any other famous property and create something there.
once you own the niche, the $$$ you'll be bringing in is well worth the trouble

    Thank you.

Do I need to use different articles for each web 2.0 property? Or can I just spin them?

And how would you suggest that I link them all together?

Search for the linkwheel - it's not even a joke. Learn to use the forum - and the money will be hitting your bank - if your system is not overloaded (which is not uncommon) :)

Just to make sure you're seeing the real picture... Google does *NOT* show you the true number of backlinks a page has. You need to use
    Code:
    http://backlinkwatch.com
    for that.

Get a hold of Angela or Paul's Backlinks, or head over to the do-follow blog list (crap, can't find the link right now), and keep building those backlinks.

If you're already in #6 spot, it should be pretty easy to get to #1.

    Good luck!

    Hey guys, thanks a lot!

By simply bookmarking and pinging I'm now at #4!

Alright, I have a question regarding the link wheel.

Let's say my focus hub is my opt-in page.

This page is not optimized for the keywords my linkwheel is designed around, so it's not showing up for any keywords in the SERPS.

I do plan on editing my opt-in page to be optimized for my keyword, but I'd still like to know, would it be okay to have 3 outgoing links from each web 2.0 property?

As in, one to my opt in page (cuz that's ultimately where I want them to go)
And then 1 to the neighbor web 2.0 site, and then another to my HUB site (which will not be my opt-in page, and most likely just be a similar web 2.0 site)?

    Thanks!

You can use spun content, but it's best if you use unique content. Each web 2.0 page needs to (1) point to your money page, and (2) point to each other like a wheel. For example, your hubpage points to your blogger blog, the blogger blog points to your squidoo lens and so on until the last page points to the hubpage.

Anyway, here's the link to the LinkWheel thread:
    HTML:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/member-downloads/66543-get-linkwheel.html
The linkwheel pdf is in the 1st post to that thread. I would read the whole thread. Lemonarian - the kid who wrote it - answers a bunch of questions that were raised about the method.

BTW, congrats on your success. I would definitely create linkwheels for your article and your money page. Also click on the Show Options link in google's search results -- you will find all sorts of goodies to help take over your search term.

Make sure you don't get too taken with yourself.

Build backlinks to your main site, your article, anything.

I remember I posted an ezine article once and was jumping up and down because it jumped into the top 3 spot within 1 day of it getting indexed for my keyword phrase.

It started to drop slowly about 2 days after that. I just ran the search and it's not on the first 10 pages for that term anymore.

I don't care because I didn't end up going in the direction of that niche, but it just goes to show you that the "fresh content" love that you get shown upfront fades fast.

You need links to support you once the honeymood is over between your article and google.

    thanks man. good advice.

Regarding domination via Yahoo Answers, should I make a new question and then answer it myself? Or what?
