More and more often, I see users asking for advice on proxies, so now I want to try to clearly explain how they work
As you all know, after the last US elections, Reddit increased its monitoring on many things, unfortunately including proxies
What I write is, of course, for those managing multiple accounts, and I won't dwell on the importance of using an anonymous browser, a clean PC, and patience

1) Static proxy or rotation?
This is the biggest dilemma. Do you have a router at home? Turn it off and on, unplug it, or simply test it once a week, and your IP will change. Do you have a mobile phone? Travel a few kilometers, and your IP will change
So it's unnatural to have static proxies!
2) Localization
Is it important? Yes and no! Or rather, I create an account with a German IP, after an hour I connect with a British IP... how is it possible that in one hour you've gone from Germany to England? If you connect after 3 days, you won't have any issues.
3) How to set up rotating proxies?
All rotating proxies have an option called "sticky," which allows you to use the same proxy for a certain period. If you're doing an action for 5 minutes, set it to 10 minutes for safety. It's also important to set the location targeting for each channel assigned to you, as this helps avoid issues with geolocation.
4) Mobile o Residential ?
Indifferent or rather... If you buy mobile proxies for $1 and residential proxies for $5, residential ones are definitely better. The reason is that, since they cost more, fewer people use them, and therefore there is a lower chance of getting duplicate IPs at the same time on Reddit.

I’d also add that when using proxies, try to avoid excessive IP switching too quickly. Reddit can flag accounts that exhibit unnatural behavior, like suddenly changing locations within minutes. It’s better to switch after a few hours or days for smoother transitions. Also, don't forget the importance of account behavior, keep it organic, even with proxies. Slow proxies can also cause issues, so make sure you're using fast, reliable ones to avoid timeouts or actions being delayed.

I don't know if I told you, but I've been observing you for a while, and in my opinion, you're a bot! And if you're not, you're not able to read

lol, why are you being rude?

And why do you respond with what I wrote?

Yes good advice. We have had customers do well with our rotating residential proxies and also our German Static ISP Proxies so I think both can work

This is a great breakdown of proxies for Reddit account management. Here are some key takeaways:
  1. Static vs. Rotating Proxies – Rotating mobile or residential proxies mimic real user behavior better than static ones.
  2. Location Matters – Avoid rapid IP changes; allow time between logins to appear natural.
  3. Setting Up Rotation – Use "sticky" sessions for stable IPs while performing actions and keep location settings consistent.
  4. Mobile vs. Residential ProxiesMobile proxies blend better with real users, while residential proxies are more exclusive and reduce duplicate IP risks.
For Reddit, high-quality mobile or residential proxies are best. Always test different setups to find what works for you!

I can't believe what I'm reading anymore. Nice guides like these have been created, and many are still asking if they can use the hotel's shared WiFi or just change providers. Don't waste your money!!

Thanks for sharing, I think mobile proxies are working better, but I will try with rotating proxies as well
