    hey,

    hey,

to host a domain on my dedicated server I need IIS 6. Which I installed.

Next it requires my to insert the windows 2003 disk. Although it isn't working.

I was wondering how I can overcome this/fix this?

From my dedicated server provider they said use the I386.zip folder but I can't pick that? It requires the disk?

    thanks

i386 is not a zip file. Its a folder which contains almost all the exe's and the dll's for installing win2k3.

if you dont have it, you can download it from torrent sites.

Download a Win 2003 Server .iso image (that matches the version you are using) like haridada said and then use Daemon Tools to mount the .iso file.

HOWEVER if your support people are telling you to use the "i386.zip" folder maybe they mean you need to unzip "i386.zip" to a folder and then point the installer to the folder on the hard drive.

    In any case, good luck!

Wicked, got it to work. But was stuck with a little problem. That is I can't seem to get nameservers. Like I think I'm doing it right but Godaddy says its not registered.
