iGoogle affecting search results?

It seems I keep getting search results with priority given to sites I have visited before.

If you are logged into your iGoogle page do you get different search results from google - giving better serps to websites you have previoulsy visited?

Yes ofcourse. iGoogle gives better serps to website you've visited / bookmarked etc.

I noticed this a couple of weeks ago when I thought I had suddenly made it to top three on google for my main keywords. Then, I signed out

Damn - No wonder I was getting messed up results for a couple of my websites!

Guess I should sign out when I am doing my research then.
