    How do I close an iframe when an offer is filled and a button is pressed?

    The page after the framed offer is giving information away to the person filling it in. In other words, they know they are screwed..

    I want to prevent this by closing the iframe when they've filled the offer and press the button.

    Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Greets,

    Wiz :)

    Godcpa will do that and it works well. :)

    you could use javascript
    Code:
    document.getElementById("IFRAME_ID").document.FORM_NAME.onsubmit = function () {
        document.getElementById("IFRAME_ID").document.location = "about:blank";
    }

    Note: This is untested, and if there already is an onsubmit function this might override it. and you probably want it to wait for a few seconds because else the form might not submit.

    Remember that with zero page 2 submits then you will get banned from the affiliate network so make sure to blend your traffic in.

    Thanks for the replies. So I guess it's possible.

    @ Gogeta: $250 is to much for me at the moment, looking for a cheap way for now.

    @ ruler0fall: how should I implement this? Do I need to change the "IFRAME_ID" to the name of my iframe? How can I delay the on submit function?

    @ gimme4free: thanks for the warning. The offer I'm using doesn't require a second page submit, so I've got nothing to worry about.

    It still matters. You may only get paid for the first page submit but if there are 0 page 2 conversions then you will get banned. Look at your advertisers terms for more info.

    Thanks for the warning but I ment there isn't a second page. It's just a little one page form that needs to be filled. After that they get to a page which thanks them for filling out their form, which I don't want the person filling out the form to see for obvious reasons.

    So does anyone have a cheap alternative to GODCPA?

    There was this nice javascript that involved the history -1. You should search Google (site:blackhatworld.com) for it.

    You just need the coordinates of the framed area in order to create the iframe. The rest requires a short script to display the area selected.

    I've still made no progress with this. Some guy offered me his help but never replied back to me. I'll give this one last shot.

    Anyone out there that can help me close/minimize/redirect the iframe after submit?

    1)GO HERE

    2)
    Code:
    <script type='text/javascript'>
    function checkHistory() {
    var hist=history.length;
    if (hist>1)//just change value 1 to other if you need :)
    	{
    		//redirect or resize or whatever... :P
    	}
    }
    </script>
    3)Us this with iframe:
    Code:
    onload="checkHistory()"
    Next time:
    1)use the brain
    2)and put a bit of effort into it

    guys another alternative method, i think it will be helpfull:
    I made an example...
    1. For example page1.html, is a page where you use iframes and after submit in iframe, you need to close iframe or redirect your page to "Thank you" page. I made just redirection to "Thank you" page.
    2. So put this code in page1.html:
    <iframe onload="frame() " src="yourcpaoffer" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="1280"
    height="3000" name="noname">
    </iframe>

    3. After that put this frame() function code in page1.html:
    <script type='text/javascript'>
    var k=1;
    function frame()
    {
    if(k>=2)
    parent.window.location = "yourthanksform.html";

    k=k+1;
    }
    </script>
    4. When iframe is loading, it automatically call frame() function.... First call of function will not redirect to "Thank you" page, but after submit, it will be second loading, it will automatically redirect your cpa victim to "thank you" page

    The code is simple, but for me it works pretty nice...
