if your in UK can you access google.COM?

Anyone from UK here?

Can you access google.COM or are you going to be redirected to google.CO.UK?

I tried using a UK proxy accessing google.com but its redirecting me to google.co.uk

Basically I just want to check my sites SERP ranking from UK but I want to search if my site is visible on google.com using UK ip.

Just above where it says 2010 - Privacy, on google.co.uk, it says:

Go to Google.com

Click that, and *BAM*, you're at google.com!
 
When you are using a UK-proxy it automatically redirects you to google.co.uk!

Have a try with a US-proxy. Google always redirects you to the contry-site you are accessing from.
 
You can access both.

Default is the uk search but most people I know have it set to global.
 
I'm in the UK, and it defaults to google.co.uk

But when I click on Go to google.com, it takes me to it.
 
Jesus, what kind of questions are people asking in here, my grampa can tell you this ...
