If You Were CEO of Google for a Week, What Would You Do?

I saw this question on Reddit and thought it’d be cool to get your opinions here. If you were the CEO of Google for just one week, what would you change in the SEO world?

Would you mess with the algorithms, roll out new features, or do something totally different?

As CEO of google, I'll instigate an important system wide algorithm update:

Every lady who types "dating apps" or "single men near me" or any such keywords gets redirected to my landing page where id sell them on how amazing a future with me will be.

They think they can block me but little did they know I have their email and they boutta receive some "abandoned cart emails"

Giggity.

Then I'd get booted from CEO position.

If I would be the Google's CEO, I would unban all the banned Adsense accounts, banned for at least 7 years in the past. After all, we all do mistakes, and not only when we are young.

If I were CEO of Google for a week, I'd focus on improving transparency in the SEO world by providing clearer guidelines on algorithm changes. I’d introduce more granular control for webmasters to understand how their sites are being evaluated. Additionally, I'd roll out features to better support small businesses and ensure they have equal opportunities to rank well. This approach would help demystify SEO and level the playing field for all.

I don't know what I'd delete, I'd just do it.

i would ensure every dog-related search has a banner with pro-cat propaganda. never had to bring my cat outside in a blizzard for it to take a shit.

I'd go the chaos route

1. Leak all the searches and e-mails of politicians and celebrities around the world that use Google
2. Pour a Drink
3. Light a Cigar
4. Put "It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by R.E.M. on repeat

I do not undertsand much about SEO but I will try to simplyfy SEO ranking rules that can everyone understand easily.

Make algorithm better.. Release udpates on schedule with prior intimation.
Build a proper social media unlike the big failure Google Plus!
Open an International bank.. And offer credit cards thats accessible the entire globe.
Create Customizable Phones, Tabs, Laptops that overtake Samsung and Apple in every term.

With massive amount of data of billions of users, If Google cant find users' mindset and wavelength, thats a shame.

If you were CEO of Google for a week, imagine the impact you could make: overhaul algorithms for unbiased results, launch groundbreaking AI initiatives or enhance user privacy. Transform Google's role in the digital world and set the stage for innovation that could redefine the tech landscape for years to come
