No this isn't spam or affiliate crap.

I'm doing a tough mudder event in a few months so to prepare the wife is making us do the Insanity workout. 1.5 weeks in and I am already seeing definition in my abs.

It is crazy to see because i've never had definition ever.

But..its HARD as fuck. Even the instructor guy and his minions tap out and take breaks lol

Anyone here done the full 2 months?

I completed 2 months of insanity, its a awesome workout. I did it like a year ago, I am thinking of starting again. I remember the plyometrics one was really hard, I used to hate those pushups xD

Well now, I remember that same guy's Hip Hop Abs or some such, and remember thinking it silly. But now this... This looks like something I'll definitely be giving a shot to. Thanks for the tip mate.

Abs are made in the kitchen, if you have too much body fat they will remain hidden.

Hey, first off congratulations to you for your fitness success!

I HIGHLY recommend that after you and your wife finish the 2 months of the program to not rest on your laurels and stop, if you want to keep your abs that is. You guys don't have to continue the hard intensity of the insanity workout when you feel you're done with it, scale it down to something that is more "enjoyable" and at an easier pace ... but do this at least 3 times a week and for the rest of you lives.

Watch the calories you eat too, once you have those nice abs you don't want to cover them up with fat again by taking in too many more calories than are used. Someone above mentioned that abs are made in the kitchen, in way that IS right because no amount of excersise will help if caloric intake is greater than what the individuals body is using.

I started workout 4 months ago, i feel the difference, my muscles are bigger, i feel younger.

If only there was a way to lower body fat by working out :proud:

Well, working out just builds your muscles underneath the fat. Yeah it does help you burn off the excess fat as well, but dieting and eating properly is going to get you abs much quicker as opposed to just working out.

Doing both of them at the same time is the perfect blend, whereas the "Strong Men" (like, the competition type) just eat and eat until they can't anymore. After that they go and workout and use all of that food as energy/building blocks for their strength.

Most of them don't have abs, mainly because they DON'T eat properly and tend to focus on strength as opposed to definition. Bodybuilders starve themselves a few days before competition to get the most definition they can... it's pretty crazy stuff.

I've tryed the insanity program 2 or 3 weeks last year, very good result I was feeling very healthy! Need to do it again
