well here's my story, i had one of my autoblogs feed with my own "hotfeed", then ---> feedwordpress or yaab ---> twitter poster.

Two days ago i got 6000 (!) daily visitors because of that darn "eric andrews peephole videotape" which was #1 in google trends, and my blog was actually on page #1 in Google for that search term. Needless to say my VPS hardly couldnt handle the CPU load and the traffic.

Anyway...since i tweeted to twitter with each new post...someone must have reported me..because i got suspended from twitter. Not only that, my "demo site" was erased from Google's index. This was a site with 20.000+ pages indexed. Sucks.

So..if you use any autoblogger and twitter....think twice...it just takes one idiot to report you...and your site's a goner. (The fact that a lot of the stuff pulled from youtube is actually spam didnt help here either). If you do such experiments, use a new twitter acc and use some site where it doesnt hurt you in case the Google hammer would hit you.

Yeah it sucks. Just get rid of twitter from now on. Let autoblogs play alone.

lol twitter didnt kill your google site, google killed your site, i seriously doubt it was because of twitter, the same idiot could have came to the site and reported you via a search engine just the same as via twitter... twitter dropping your account is possible, but twitter CAUSING the google ban isnt likely.

Yeh I'm not seeing problems with Twitter. Been going on a year now using autoblogging + Twitter and haven't seen a Google ban [or lost my twitter accounts]....but then again everyone needs to understand that not all things are created equal online! lol. So perhaps it was.....but giving my experience too so it's not just a blanket 'twitter and autoblogging=bad'

It would be better to have a whole lot of Twitter accounts sending smaller amounts followers each over to different sites, than to have had your 6,000 followers from one account all going to one autoblog. Distribute the wealth, so a hit from whatever direction (Twitter, Google, whomever) won't sting too badly.

I have mine on blogger so I dont have to worry about my hosting cutting me off. I've had not problems so far with twitter. Every single blog I have feeds one twitter account and some of them have 10,000 followers.

That is a bummer man. I had been watching your site (and even made a clone of it) but on mine tried to mix up hotfeed with other feeds,
I guess lucky for my I never got around to using twitter with it.. and I stopped the hotfeed. I hate how short and messy its posts are.

What do you mean related? I don't think there's any relation between twitter ban and google ban for your autoblog. It just maybe the person who reported your twitter account and your autoblog is the same person, another webmaster or your competitor...
Cause I've never had any problem running autoblog with twitter, it increase traffic for sure...

Why are you reported? Are you doing something "wrong"

Is it wrong to use twitter plugin?
