If You Post to Xanga You Need This Fix for the Title Tag

    Xanga has been really pissing me off since I tried using it. Took forever to get it indexed and when I did my pages were in omitted results.

    The problem? It was using duplicate titles for every page.

    The solution:

    Edit your article and click the HTML button. At the top of the page insert this code:

    <![CDATA[ //title changer //xanga.com/HTMLSource  <!-- newtitle = "My Xanga"; document.title(Your Post Name Goes Here); // ]]>
    Make sure to change the post name in the code above.

    I don't see duplicate titles but investigating several of my sites I see

    Code:
    <meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW" />
    on the root and each page.

    It appears that this site is useless for backlinking unless someone knows how to get the noindex / nofollow tag removed.
