If you ping a whois site with your URL, you don't need to actually visit the whois site?

    I was thinking... for those mass whois submitters. If you do a ping to for instance www.pingserver.com/ping and submit a following URL to ping: www.whoissite/stats/myurltoindex, doesn't the pingserver basically create that page by itself by just trying to visit that page?
