inspiring thread to go to paid traffic instead of BigG organic traffic.
Well $500 isn't much money in this arena.
And just because min deposit is $500 doesn't mean you'll be spending that all on testing.
TrafficVance for example has a $1k min deposit but you wont need all of that for just testing.
Tried it, worked great! Thanks for your share!
The hardest thing about this is creating a product if I can think of that I am sure i can make thousands.
but i'm not sure when i got $1k this method is still useful
i'm having $00 ahaha
That's what I'm talkin' about! How can I contact you about your method?
Wasted and Ouch,
Thanks for posting this thread! I actually just started with SiteScout this past Sunday, however, my efforts were pretty haphazard. I started looking for a viable strategy and Wasted's post came up. I'm going to be following it (I currently have a few Clickbank products) and I'm going to make it work. The Adbeat guy had just run a webinar where he said that he didn't know anyone who was able to make RTB work so finding this thread renewed my confidence in the source.
Thanks again to both of you!
RTB is a method of optimizing your campaign real fast, but the REAL results come in when you make those negotiations for some direct buys on the sites that are proving themselves, feel free to contact me about your campaign.
this is top of the line info here, I'm going to have to try this
Yeah, he was basically saying that he didn't know anyone who was able to make RTB platforms like Sitescout work. To be honest, it was a bit discouraging to hear that but finding this thread turned things around for me. I decided to start a brand new campaign from scratch yesterday using someone else's product that I know converts well. I was able to find a site with a lot of impressions, a low average CPM, and a product that would appeal to the main audience for the site. I created 8 banners (300x250 and 728x90) and also swiped some banners from others I found promoting the product on AdBeat. Total = 10 banners. I've read that what the banner says is more important than the picture so I put more effort into trying different messages.
I'm currently waiting for the campaign to be approved. I'm not sure they approve them on Saturdays but here to hoping they do!
While I wait, I'm going to buy or request that the vendor give me a copy of the product for review. My thought is that I can pull the biggest benefits from the product and use each one as a teaser in a banner. The banner that gets the biggest CTR/conversion combo would indicate which benefit is most important to the audience. I could then create a squeeze page offering that big benefit for those who optin and create a sales funnel for a few more related products.
SS only approves during the week.
Thinking like this is very smart and an indication that you can do well in this business.
But keep in mind that if you are an affiliate of this product you only get a percentage of the sale price which brings more risk to your business and could make a profitable campaign not a profitable one for you.
I'm glad you think so. I'm ready to stop working for someone else and do this full time. I checked out the FAQ this morning and saw that they only approve during the week Oh well. In the meantime, do you usually let your campaigns run at all hours at first to see which hours work best or do you have a baseline set of hours you schedule from day one (such as 8 am to midnight)?
Run the campaign for 24 hours first, every niche is different. Then look at your ctr and conversions and judge what hours are best spent
nice im gona try this after some weeks. ty .
Hey so anyone else get this working?
this is a really nice share. thanks OP!
Read the thread and you'll find your answer, but in short... yes
Okies, I finally finished to read your thread. For people who went over the entire thread, they observed that at least 1 forum user started the things after reading your thread. Here is the link for those who are interested: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-my-first-media-buy-campaign-4-130-sales.html
In this thread and in the thread I mentioned 1 line ago you have lots of valuable information. You need to be smart, have money to start, understanding that testing costs and that money bring money. And yeah..TAKE ACTION.
In the next period, I will start doing this as well so thanks for the thread and the info you provided here.
Nice ...Keep Up The Good Work !
damn, you need to have some serious cash for that
