I decided that i'm going to be selling my first website I have ever made that has made over a few dollars a month at the end of March. This is a strange website because as of now it's only depending on Bing and Yahoo traffic. I'm guessing I got penalized by Google, so i'm just gonna scrape it when I can. As of know i'm averaging around $60 a month, i'm trying to get it to at least $80 a month by the end of march to drive up the price a little bit more.

My main keyword is a 1900 local searches phrase, i'm currently ranked 3rd on bing and yahoo for it. It's fairly low competition so i'll be doing some GSA runs to try to bump it up to at least 2nd.

If you were me, how would you attempt to raise the revenue per month by at least $20, hopefully more in 1.5 months time.

    Thanks Guys,

    Brett

If you raise the revenue why wouldn't you just keep it as an asset. I would always prefer to earn $2-$3 a day than selling it for some small short-term profit. Unless you need the money right now, why not keep it and focus on a new site?

Do you even get any traffic from those bing and yahoo ranks?
I have a site wich ranks 1-3 on some good keywords on those SE's, but i get nada traffic, if i had those ranks on google id rake in.

I'm averaging around 12-18 uniques a day, which doesn't sound too good but with a pretty good CPC rate it does okay. And the reason I won't be selling it is that i'm looking for a little bit of money that will help me create new sites.

I have looked at auctions on Flippa and it seems like it is becoming more and more popular to run a month or two of SAPE links to inflate traffic/profits and sell the site, then remove the links once it sells.
