If you had £500 / $600 a month for SEO, how would you use it?

Say you're a fairly new site.

What would you do with this budget? What would you outsource/ do yourself?

And why?

Niche edits and guest posts, to follow up on your thread https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/is-a-niche-edit-more-powerful-than-a-guest-post.1184917/

Thanks :) So write all on-page yourself, and off-page content yourself, and spend full budget on getting these?
Well, if you know what you're doing around content, then by all means, write everything yourself. Otherwise, no links will get you sales if your content is shit.

Define "know what you're doing" please

month 1: keyword research, building content
month 2: build Some foundation link, Social bookmark, Google Entity Stack
Month 3:Buy some Guess post and niche edit slowly if you want to safe
Month 4,5,6... you cant start build more content and pbn
that's my process to build a new website. hope it helps :)

To be frank, you would be better served hiring an SEO to handle your SEO as opposed to asking this sort of question as your site is unique to any other site.

Some SEOs will gladly share reports on the kinds of actions they are taking to help your site rank so you would learn from that process while getting served as well.

Interesting point, thank you. Do you believe you can get a decent monthly service for that price, though? I saw another thread that mentioned it'll cost 2-3k for a good service.

I also, truly, like learning it. I've got a fair bit of experience in PPC, so learning SEO (at least on a broad level) is good for me.

That depends on what your site actually needs but there are services that can help you at that price point.

I should have added this, @Ravi Davda, go ahead and post in the hire a freelancer subforum and get some SEOs to offer their opportunities to serve you at that price point.
