I don't know if it has released in any countries I found it online. I am going to watch it again in theatres when it releases, but my point is to notice the way money moves.

In seo, or any other work that you do... We can never achieve what can be achieved with investment. The scam that is money, the way people eat candy and blame it on how immigrants are the problem and then go homeless. This movie is such an eye opener. As soon as I start making money with SEO, I am learning the trade of stock markets and get focused in that too. Any financial experts thought on this movie?

It's cool to see that great book being turned into a movie. It was an awesome read and gave me lots of insights on how the financial crisis occurred. Didn't know there was a movie for it. Going to watch it.

If you haven't read the book then I highly suggest it.

How is the book, is it a tough read? I would love to learn more as you caught my attention.

It came out this week. I am going to read the book too, in coming months.

Carell, Pitt and Gosling? Gonna watch that no matter what!

Just watched it yesterday. Riveting and one of the best pictures of the year. Honestly got a lot of ideas on how money moves, how home loans work and the likes. This was one of those financial movies which I watched and did not yawn..And I watched it at 1:30 AM, so that was saying something.
A good movie FTW.

most definitely not, what you saw was a screener, it was released 3 days ago, the movie comes to theatres only in February

Oh well I am going to watch it in theaters also just for the hard work that is clearly visible in the movie.

Most likely, just like "The Revenant".. or even "The Hateful Eight".

I enjoy movies like this. I'm "acquiring" it now. Thanks for the recommendation OP.

I think it is great that Hollywood would put out a movie that brings these issues to light. Basically bankers, mortgage brokers, ect. demolished our economy, destroyed families, ruined lives, made millions homeless, caused poverty and raised mortality rate, all just so they could make $. And not only were none of them punished for any of this, but actually were rewarded! It is absolutely sickening that the government let them get away with this, bailed them out (while most used the bailout money to give themselves bonuses and increased pay), and now are allowing them to do it again! I am a very calm, collected person but this issue makes my blood boil. Makes you realize that some humans really are just evil pieces of s&#t!

With that being said, I thought the movie was pretty bad. The first 75 minutes they all just go around explaining the exact same thing over and over and over... and over and over again and again. Just a lot of regurgitated content that seemed only like a filler to make a short story long. Very redundant. Also it is edited weird. Random montages, celebrity explanations and some of the characters just sporadically decide to start speaking directly to the audience. It seemed like it wanted to be part documentary but I didn't like how it hoovered on that line and bounced back and forth from being a documentary to a story and back.

I would like if more people knew about this and I wish that enough people cared enough to do something to punish and prevent these evil beings from doing things like this, but I don;t know if I would really recommend this movie...

Just watched it. Holy shit. Great movie. Reminds me of a Wolf of Wall Street style film what with:

1) Breaking the fourth wall
2) Relating to downfall in the financial industry
3) Having a start-studded cast, and
4) Having Margot Robbie as eye candy

Great film. Highly recommended.

Bankers or Mortgage brokers didn't cause all that harm, they barely had anything to do with it.

I agree, they did a good job on that movie. Trouble is, by the time a scam of such proportion is revealed and discussed openly, the damage is already done, and the next big scam is in motion, as we contemplate on the past. It would be nice if the movie expanded a bit and showed the record profits of the banking industry after the subprime scam and the bailout heist.

Sounds good I'm gonna look it up as well.

It's a great movie. It's quite realistic I think and it shows how the wall street runs. But gave me a good plan of how economy works besides that, for example that small coincidences like the wrong phone call can lead to huge opportunities - you just gotta catch 'em! :)
