While browsing the Internet, I came along lifehack.org where I found a very interesting sentence. On it's own it may not make as much sense to everyone, but after seeing the picture I must say I really like this quote.

Then again after thinking twice people don't accept speed limits therefore they speed... /facepalm

Limitations are creation of our brain. If we can see it and visualize it, then we can achieve it. Fuck limitations. I use them for moving past my goals. :)

    Excellent Share @ShadeDream

    Cheers :)

I'm pretty sure if you accept your limitations you'll stay within them and not go beyond them from an introspective point of view.

This quote doesn't make sense. It should say: "If you accept your limitations, you will never go beyond them."

Because if you accept that you have limits, than you are limiting yourself, therefore you will never go beyond that limit.

You have to look at it from a different perspective. Look at the picture, there's a speed limit sign of 70. That in itself is a limitation, drivers accept it (not literally), but they still go above the speed limit. Hence "If you accept your limitations you go beyond them."

I concur. We create limitations in our life because we start believing in those limitations. Once we stop thinking them as limitations, then go a long way. It's all there in our brain.

    Cheers :)

The thing about that sign is that we don't accept the limitation. We drive faster than the speed limit because we believe that its limitations aren't just in our opinion and that we can go faster than what someone has allowed us to. If we had accepted them then we would've followed set rules for the feeling of safety and coercion, while avoiding risk.

I think the main idea is to know your limitations now. I mean, maybe now you can´t make that business you want, because you lack experience. But that your limitations wont be there later. So in other words, like know your weak points so you go directly after them and beat them.

I agree with Patel. It should have been something like, "If you accept your limitations, you will never go beyond them."

But then, the lifehack guys must have purposely made up this as a linkbait and to initiate a discussion.
