any done this succesfully.

im thinking quite a few of my sites have penalties but theeir content was good as i paid some good textbroker chiefs to write that adsense ready shit so would like it not to go to waste.

thats been the main thing stopping me from stasrting on a new domain the old adsesne glorified content crap- so could i just copy and paste that shit?

im thining this woudlnt be an issue since i copy and paste copied material and rnak it with w2s plenty in the past.

just add no index metatag, and upload your db to a new domain.

Actually i am also having the same doubt!.(I am not hijacking OP) but adding no index work well?,as its been once indexed by many crawlers!

Actually i only care about google. I did this on a penalized domain, also add no index on wmt. After one day the domain and content was complety deindexed.

I have done the copy and paste to a new domain and had no issues. Another route I went was to take these sites penalized in Google, but ranked well and receiving good traffic in Yahoo and Bing and removed Adsense and replaced with Chitika. I then manually re-wrote the exact same content and added on a new site that would get Adsense.

Depends on why your previous site was banned...

Just copy pasting the old content will result in duplicate content.
If you don't need the old site, you can do a 301 redirect for a week or two until the new site is fully index then remove the 301, because depending on the penalty, it might also transfer the penalty to the new site.
then add no index tag to the old site or completely delete its content.

What i have done successfully in the past is to save the content to notepad (Word if you prefer) then delete and park the penalized domain and waited at least a month for the content to be fully deindexed and then added to a new site as fresh new content. Also make sure the content is still 100% unique and has not been scraped and copied by others (if so then the content is then useless as it will remain indexed on someone else's website.)

pretty sure if google deindexes a site and content it still is aware of the content and that it was deindexed

before copying content decrawl first site...otherwise content will be duplicate

you guys scared of shadows with duplicate content. you noobs didnt know that dupe content is only relevant for the same site?

The safest way is to delete the penalized domain (but back up all the articles on your computer) and wait till google removes the site from their index. Then create the new site with the old content. I did the same thing a while ago and its working fine for me

"Pretty sure" means you 'think'? And if this is true what then happens? Again...you 'think' the result will be? Please dont post unless you a certain and have tested something as this is not DP or WF!!

On the other hand i have tested and done this on more than one occasion and have sites ranking no.1 right now with content from old penalized site that i have deleted and and recreated on another domain.

ok bro don't get your panties in a wad...lol

you are right. I am speculating and am just using info I have read as grounds for my statement. I just think it is better to be safe than sorry you know?

oh ok so I can just copy/paste any articles I want, put them on my site and rank? hmmm......not so sure about this

in my cases i havent been deindexed but just nowhere to be seen in top 100. so i might not have a direct penalty on my sites but rather by proxy other sites are more agreeable.

think ill just buy a new domain and slap the old articles straight up and see what happens.

I have a few sites penalized. i have deleted them completely and saved all articles. gunna let these articles collect dust and maybe in 6 months or a year, ill come back to them with a fresh new domain. i think this is the safest route to take.
