I know Google bans you for life, but will it affect my application? We share the same last name and address

You can leave him and come to me, honey. I spend part of the year in London and I'm making a killing with Adsense so I can shower you with anything you want and support any of your extravagant shopping sprees :D (joking, except the London part)

No, they won't ban you. As an example, Google is aware that college students have an Adsense account and share the same IP, banning through IP would be counterproductive and lead to many complaints. Having said that, tell your hubby to go easy as Google bans for life and he will have to use someone else's name to get a new account.

But like I say, I spend a good amount of time in London every year...

You can use the same address. One of my Adsense accounts got banned a couple years ago when I first started IM. I have no problems with the one I have right now. Same name and address.

    No thanks Jeff.

On another thought, my post was a bit tasteless although I was joking and only making a reference to the title itself. Didn't know the limit of acceptable trolling in this forum, so I'll tone it down for the phegg*ts (lol j/k, semi srs).

PS: my advice stands, Google doesn't ban IPs for Adsense. I have 6 accounts (to spread my risk) and for 3 I use the same IP and use my some friends' names. I had an account ban as a competitor click bombed me, and I was using the same IP as for these 3 accounts; I also created two of them after the ban, with the same IP, so I hope this helps out the OP.

When my Adwords account got banned (for no good reason) I was told by Google that if I created a new LLC and applied again I would get accepted without any issues (as their issue was just with one of my sites). I have since done that and that new account is doing just fine.

I don't want to promise that you will have the same results (I've never had an Adsense account get banned and they may work differently), and it is better to be safe and sorry, but I think the odds are low that your husband getting banned will impact you not getting approved.
