If I'm using pinterest for affiliate marketing should i make it a business account?

hi, i'm really new to all of this but i'm really trying to get started. so far i only have 56 followers but i just got started last night. but i noticed that if i convert my pinterest account to a business one i get to see how many views and all i'm getting on my pins so i'm just wondering if i should switch if i only plan on doing affiliate marketing or if it's better to keep my account as it is.

As far as I know, it is not mandatory to create a business account.

I wouldn't sweat this now. You can always switch to a biz account anytime. But having those analytics will help a lot when you're trying to figure out if your pins are being seen or not.

biz accounts are not free. they upgraded one of my accounts before they started charging.
