If I'm expected to pay 1k/month for SEO, how come BHW packages are $100 - 300 / month?

This may be a silly question but I'm utterly confused. I have wedding service business. We've been in the industry for nearly a year now but have just launched our website a few days ago (silly us)! At the moment, we're on page 5 (44) of Google for our keyword and we'd love to be in page 1 at least (who doesnt?). So I'm looking for SEO companies, BHW and WF packages etc.. and have read through one of the pinned post on this sub-forum; How to buy SEO for your Business in 2015

    Ghoast mentioned
So how come BHW and WF prices are 80% lower even though they claim the same thing (some!)?

I'd stick to this forum, read and learn and do it yourself and save a ton of money. there are no end of experts on here, from SEO to instagram and facebook. Most of the stuff you'll need to do is on here. Not only free advice and tips but good sellers who really know what they are doing, and a lot cheaper

There's different levels of quality offered by a variety of sellers here. Some of the packages and services offered here are meant for more expendable websites as in they may be penalized by G. If you're trying to run a brick and mortar wedding service business, you're going to want a very selective and high quality approach to minimize your chances of getting penalized. This is going to cost more.

If there was one thing I would suggest is don't buy anything for awhile until you have a better grasp on which services are high risk. You're going to be flooded by people trying to lock you down as a client so prepare for a bunch of big promises. Good luck!

You usually get what you pay for here, that's why I don't really buy services from bhw anymore. It's better to just learn how to do seo yourself, and then put together your own team to do it for you.

Thanks for the reply guys. So a $300 SEO from here is more a "talk the talk"? Our market is geographic specific. We're trying to rank for a wedding service in Northern Ireland.

In my opinion, you could rank for your keyword pretty easily if it isn´t in a very competitive area. I would advice you to get a white hat seo service, although I recommend to read some of the threads on the forum for a week and so, when you are ready order one package but nothing blackhat since you want it to work long term.

A lot of it depends where your service provider is located too. A lot of SEOs in the states will charge you a huge amount to do a local listing campaign that will cost a lot less if done by a foreign firm for the same quality.

Most whitehat SEO services are campaign management too while a most blackhat services are single one-time linkbuilding packages.

The monthly searches is 150 according to Google Keyword Tool. Although me and my partner already know that this wouldn't be our main source for potential customers it still would be great to be rank 1 so we don't have to pay for adwords. And besides people do prefer organic than paid.

Thread from where? This sub-forum? Thanks for your reply btw.

This is another thing. I don't know if I should start doing Local SEO or not. We do not have a business address as of now.

You either learn how to do SEO yourself or pay an Agency $X,XXX to do it for you.

You can often buy the same links and SEO on this forum for a few hundred an agency will charge X,XXX for. The difference is the Agency (Should) know what they are doing and ensure it works for you.

You are targeting a local market, low search volume and I imagine you do not have a lot of competition. With no SEO on page five. It should not be hard to rank on page one with a little elbow grease and you will save a lot of money.

Once you get a physical address some business listing will run you about $50 from a reputable seller who does them on BHW. The rest of your SEO can be done yourself fairly easily depending on how hard the KW actually is.

Save your money and figure it out yourself. Especially when you are targeting an easy KW. I did a little research in your niche (Northern Ireland Wedding related Keywords) and it does not look that difficult to rank related KWs upon initial inspection so this should not cost a lot to get done.

OP, save your money and dont buy any SEO packages here or in WF. If you are doing a legit biz and do not want to get your website penalized by google, you can try doing what this guy is doing ---> google Brian Dean. He not the only guy in seo arena, but I believe if you follow his steps on his blog, sure can help your site get better ranking

What would you recommend I purchase in relation to SEO? I was thinking of AHREF.

One practical reason for $300 quotes is it represents a rate acceptable to the higher volume of people who are at the low end of the average scale for SEO services. The $1000 to $3000 is the overall average range pros charge for optimizing all kinds or sizes of sites with low-comp keywords. But if you have a new, small micro niche site, or only want "starter" SEO done for a month or two to get your site off to the right track, $300 is reasonable price point to settle on.

Another consideration for the rate is that IM freelancers here do not have to charge as much, as in general they make more money working on their own sites, thus doing SEO for others is not their main income center. They don't rely on it as much, so they can cut newbies a break.

If you're doing SEO yourself, your best purchases would be for a reliable web host, an expired domain with good metrics, a PBN backlink or two with good metrics, good SEO software like GSA SER, and a good paid keyword research program.

A lot of services on BHW are what real agencies buy for their customers that they charge $2-3K a month. But most agencies will buy 2-3 packages at the same time - obviously different ones as not point having 3 "all-in-one" services. But getting one "all-in-one", one PBN and one unique link types - you should be good.
